Because it's copyright infringement and he's not the one doing the work. It's not hard to understand.

Yep. About half of their stuff is crap IMO. But my opinion of their stuff has nothing to do with the fact that it is theirs. They have every right to be pissed off about someone stealing it and using it as their own.

UGA kicker should keep his mouth shut... wait till the worst possible time next season, when they need a last second kick to win the game, beat a rival, or win the East.

He's warming up on the sideline, Kirby pats his rear, sends him in, and he flashes deuces and quits on the spot. :eek:lol:

They legalized child prostitution in California. Absolutely nothing surprises me anymore.

For the record, the law in California made it so that minors acting as prostitutes won't be charged as criminals and will instead be treated as victims.

People who solicit them will still be charged accordingly.

It's exactly what bill oreilly and his guest from California was saying last night...

Fake news everywhere I guess?

Here is how it went down with Helfrich, IMO

Mutual interest, but Helfrich didn't want to be tied down in Knoxville. He insisted on no buyout, so he could bounce at his leisure

Butch was willing to take his hands off the offense, but saw the danger in Helfrich leaving after a year or two, meaning an additional offense change, and the risk that comes with it.

The buyout was a safety for Butch, and when that was a no go, he knew Helfrich had one foot out the door, before he even had a foot in.

Thus, Butch made the smart/safe move, and is looking for a longer term solution

Or Helfrich saw Kelly get fired and lost interest in UT after he realized the two could be working together again.

But the reports are that Helfrich cooled on the whole ordeal, not that Butch made any move or anything like that.

Sounds more like Helfrich heard there would be a buyout and noped out before any earnest talks were made. So Butch just had to move down whatever list he had to begin with.

Having said that, honestly I wonder how earnestly he actually pursued Helfrich and to what extent their meeting was for show. Butch had some interviews with OCs before Debord that were obviously just meant to give the appearance of due diligence. He said a lot of similar things about fit and not wanting to overhaul the system.

If Butch's top target was so willing to make a move to highly regarded guy who'd take the reigns of the offense, why would his #2-3 targets both be in house guys?

Doesn't make much sense to me.

Lookin back at th Debord and Scott hires, those guys had met with Butch (and even some players, in Debord's case) in private before their names had even been floated or seriously considered by many media outlets. But it had been kept relatively hush hush and we found out about it after their hiring became imminent.

This time around Butch has Helfrich at a bowl practice for every writer following the team to see?

Just seems a little fishy if you ask me.

Not to fuel the fire on the Butch hate, and I know most people hate Cowherd but I thought this was interesting.

Colin Cowherd Blasts Jones; Tells Kelly that Tennessee is "A Job You Take" — Drive Time

He's right. Tennessee is a top 10 job once again thanks to the improved in-state talent pool. I don't know if people know this but we are a top 10 state nationally when it comes to producing division 1 talent. And the state is only getting better.

With the right coach this program could be doing what Alabama is doing right now. Butch is simply not getting it done right now. Nothing Colin said is false.

They need a law for that? Isn't that just common sense to most?

This is one thing we actually agree on 100 percent.

It kills me to see how many guys on here have said "we're just not an elite program like many of you think", & basically saying "8 regular season wins is average for this school what's all the fuss about" & things of that nature.

Downplaying our own success as a program & being okay with mediocrity. Baffles my mind.

There's no reason we shouldn't be an elite football team year in & year out. Facilities are there, fan support is there, money is there, in state talent is rapidly improving, close proximity to recruiting hotbeds (Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville etc.)
