Don't you try and take my delusions of grandeur away from me. Don't you do it.The idea of Helfrich coming is extremely remote....think Lloyd Christmas.
What's going to be funny is the meltdown on here when it doesn't happen. It will be Gruden-esque.
This fanbase loves to create a scenario in their mind then blames everyone else when it doesn't happen.
Basilio reminds me of one of my guilty pleasures from a couple decades ago. There was a radio call-in show called "Coast to Coast" with Art Bell. It covered all sorts of paranormal and supernatural topics and had just enough plausibility to be interesting though it was rarely believable. It had a rather large cult following of true believers. I for one enjoyed it. I could suspend disbelief long enough to wonder "what if?".
Basilio relies on the same model (and production equipment, apparently).

So Helfrich was 15th nationally on offense in the PAC 12 and is the 2nd coming, but DeBord was 24th nationally in the SEC and he's an idiot that needed to go according to you. That about sums up you and your logic.
History? The same history where he ditched Jancek for Shoop? Yeah, that clearly indicates CZA or Scott is getting OC like you've claimed many times in this thread.
Are you that dense or a liar? I'll let you decide in what way you suck at life. Where did I ever state that 'Debord needed to go'?
My actual stance was move Debord to the O-line, hire a creative offensive mind that can coach DBs and ditch the mid major offense that we run. And good job with the hyperbole, you will never hear me laud anyone as the '2nd coming' as I know enough about something I did and not only watched that it's never one guy that's the problem. This is Butch's crossroads as to whether he wants to be looked upon as elite by bring in guys that make him look like a million bucks. Or sticking with the status quo and be seen as a guy with a ceiling.
Seems like you may be butthurt that exposed you as a contradicting azzhat that's only good for a fly by zinger every now and then.

so if he does nothing, he is lambasted....if he does something, he is lambasted.
most of you all are approaching bama mouth breather territory.

At first, I was totally wanting Helfrich. After some consideration, I am not sure he is the guy to get her done. His resume looks great, but when you start looking at the small details there are some questions I would have for him. Who was actually calling plays at Oregon? If the answer is Chip, I would keep looking. Would coach Z and Scott work well as CO-OCs? Who knows, but Helfrich isn't a sure fire home run.
Lol. If you approve of DeBord then why move him to Oline and be replaced by someone who hasn't proven he can be more effective? Doesn't that mean he needs to go as OC? Where did I mischaracterize your sentiments? You're just looking for anything that will deflect from the fact that this team has underachieved because of Butch Jones, not because of some coordinators that need to be reshuffled.
You're saying all this under the impression that Butch only wants to hire friends. You don't know that, yet you pretend you do.It makes sense because Zach learned under Debord.
It makes sense because Butch can still be in control
Shoop isn't all he swore he was.
Scott drew interest for an HC position so it makes sense for Butch to offer Scott in an effort to keep him around.
