None of Alabama's backfield played against Clemson.

Mike Williams and Deion Caine didn't play one down last year versus Alabama either.

Say what you want but to beat the Buckeyes on the big stage 31-0 is damn near the top. Better than beating Washington 24-7. IMO

He is quick, good in coverage, good instincts, and is capable of contain on the outside. There was a point in camp that Gaulden tweeted out his disappointment about a coaching decision. It is clear to me that is what it was because I saw him and Micah working at the S position in scrimmage type drills. The next practice he was working with Foreman at NB. Poor decision IMO.

Abernathy and Gaulden should switch for sure. I like Gaulden at CB but wouldn't mind having him and Warrior as the safeties. Would be on edge about them blowing coverages but somebody would be getting knocked out.

I can see Gauden at CB as well, just not at NB. Especially on the corner blitz. :) I love the thought of him and Warrior at S if they can improve coverages. There would be bodies laying all over the field. I think both of them can improve quickly on coverage if they hire a better secondary coach.

I like the idea of Warrior and Gaulden at S but also thought Gaulden played well down the stretch this year at NB.

He can pretty much play any position in the secondary.

Agree. He improved at NB, still took some bad angles on occasion. Gaulden understands what formation and tendencies are telling him. He reads really well. That's something TKJr. is good at now. That tells me that if he can get coverages figured out and improve his angles he could cause a lot of receivers and RB's to be worried about what was going to hit them because he will deck you.

Makes it easier to blitz if we walk him down in mam coverage. We could send more with better coverage on the back end. Warrior will be special at safety. IMO Just needs more PT.

We need to swap Abernathy and Gaulden, would love to see a combo of Gaulden and Warrior at safety.

I don't care who we play at safety or CB, just get it done and improve.... our secondary is the weakest point of our team right now hands down. Every time a QB drops back on us I throw up a little in my mouth just waiting for the huge completion and watching our guy scrambling from behind after getting burned and not even looking for the ball.... If we improve even a little in that aspect of the game and don't encounter the injury bug we had this season, we just may be pushing for the East.... I think JG gonna ball.

Pushing for the East???? We should be back to back East champs. DB issues and all. The division is a joke right now.

SHOULD BE.... but weren't we supposed to be a shoe in this year? Almost everyone is returning at GA and not going into the draft and we go to the swamp.... don't think teams won't have figured out our glaring weakness and will try to expose it even more... Yes I think we can win the east but I will leave it as "pushing for the East"....

GA's OL is mostly gone...but they sucked anyway. As long as they keep Chaney, I love our chances.

yeah I tend to agree... even though they seem to always have all this talent on paper and will get more this recruiting class, they tend to stumble... If JG can get his mojo going and chemistry with the offense by then, I do still like our chances...

What happen to that wonderful head defensive coach that Butch hired? I think he needs a secondary coach and a offensive line coach.

According to John Brice on Twitter Barnett was not charging money for autographs. While JRM (and maybe Kamara?) was. Maybe Barnett truly hasn't made up his mind about going pro?

Is CZA the most improved coach of the year for the Vols?

No crouching tiger. Shortened rotation. Hail Mary grab. Malone entering the draft early. Jennings becoming a solid WR.

Barnett hasn't signed with an agent. JRM signed with one weeks ago

I think I had them winning 6 or 7. Really liking what Robinson is doing and I REALLY want him to draft Barnett, even though that isn't a huge position of need. Sign/draft a couple FAST WR, a couple CB and a couple ILB and lets roll.
