They are winning the Natty too. A RB playing QB at Alabama won't beat them. Hurts is bad passing.

And that secondary everyone said I tried to downplay is about to be exposed.

To dominate the Buckeyes like that top to bottom is a real statement. And contrary to what you all think Dabo isn't going anywhere and nor is Clemson. He's built an elite program. Hats off to him.

That is our luck at UT..always stuck between a rock and a hard place. But I have to say, for those that are just completely done with Butch...I wouldn't have given you a plug nickle for Dubbos future after that absolute shellacking WVU gave him a few years ago. And a few other really bad losses along the way. There is a lot to be said for patience

That's part of what give me hope too. He took the next step once he upgraded his staff. That was a turning point for them.

Maybe this season can be that for Butch.

Funny. Last week I predicted Clemson would beat Ohio State handily. I also predicted they would beat Bama for the natty and people were saying I was crazy.

Its not that Clemson is this good. Its just that Ohio State is OVERRATED. I was saying all year the Big 10 wasn't as good as the media and playoff committee made them out to be Regular season rankings are meaningless for conference strength. We only know how good a conference is during bowl season and the NFL draft.

And I said all year the two best conferences were the SEC and ACC. Wanna know why? NFL talent. SEC and ACC continually have produced more NFL players than any other conferences over the last 10-15 years.

Buckeyes had the defense to win but the offense was incredibly atrocious. I did not expect that bad of an offense. Clemson made the same mistakes they've been making all year and Bama will take advantage of those type of mistakes. Their special teams need help too.

Following Nebraska's first TD, Barnett had a personal foul that should have been enforced on the kick-off. I'm watching the game again, and it appears it was not enforced

Bama scored 24 points on Washington. How many will they score on Clemson with a QB that can't throw accurate at all?

Also Clemson has faced Alabama last year and moved the ball up and down the field on a defense that was more loaded than this one. IMO

Washington had a top defense. You can say that same thing about Bama playing Clemson.

I just don't think Clemson is the best team.

With Malone out, we are at 63 returning players next year. More attrition on the way.

I've got 61. Are you counting Jumper? Who else? Walk-ons are awarded scholarships on a year-by-year basis. They will not be renewed if the slot is needed. An exception is someone like Daniel who is the only scholarship at his position. His is locked.

My way too early starting 22ish because there's no football on this morning and I'm bored.

QB: Guarantano
RB: Kelly (CFA/Chandler get plenty of reps)
WR: Jennings
WR: Smith/Williams
WR: Callaway/Johnson
TE: Wolf
LT: Richmond
LG: Robertson
C: Thomas
RG: Jones
RT: Hall/Smith

DE: Taylor/Smith
DT: Vickers/Johnson
DT: Kmac/Tuttle
DE: Kongbo/Phillips
LB: Kirkland
LB: McDowell/Bituli
LB: Kelly Jr/Berry
NB: Gaulden
CB: Byrd
CB: Osborne/Buchanan
S: Warrior
S: Griffin/Kelly

Not sure on the defensive backs.. with a coaching change we could see guys change positions, guys emerge, etc. not sure what to expect there, but we have talent

9-3 (5-3)

So, does the Big Ten get finished off tomorrow? I'll admit that I fell for the media darlings only to watch them all get thumped again. They still have Penn State, Wisconsin and Iowa. What do you all think will happen in those games?

Was not impressed with Bama's performance. Washington kept shooting themselves in the foot or it would have been closer. Bama has slowly slipped into being classless winners. The old AL coaches would not let them act like they have been acting this year. From not shaking hands at the first of the game, to the way they acted at the very end, one of them even calling Washington soft that made social media.... As we well know it is hard to harness prima donna's (Hurd/Pwilly), but a team full of them that are used to coming out and dominating every game has to be hard. Saban has let it get out of hand and I don't see how he will be able to reel them back in and change the culture. I am hoping Clemson gives them a dose of their own medicine... even though this isn't helping our recruiting situation with Clemson...

I don't think 8-4 is bad enough to fire Butch in 2017. But his buyout drops a lot in 2017, to around 6 million or so.

If the university could afford Dooley's $5 million buyout in a year when they were financially in the red, they can pay $6 million for Butch next year. Revenue has been up on a consistent upswing the past 4 years.

That sounds kind of odd, let's get rid of the coach responsible for the increased revenue?

Josh Malone finished 3rd in the SEC in receiving yards, and did it with 11&12 less receptions than the two guys in front of him.

Monster year. The best adjustment made from 15 to 16 was the passing game. We got the ball downfield very effectively
