Interesting. UT offered a APB yesterday. Callahan on 247 was asked if that was bad news regarding Akers, and his response was:

I think it's further evidence that Tennessee already is looking into backup plans, which already seemed clear based on the Vols' offer to Timothy Jordan earlier this month. I don't think they feel good about their chances with Akers.

I haven't heard that at all. We'll see if anything changes in the next week, but everything I've been hearing points to Florida State.

I'm hearing from people close to his recruitment that they've been led to believe he's planning to pick Florida State. And it's coming from multiple directions, so I would be a bit surprised if it's wrong.

I wonder how much our recruiting class would be different if we went 10-2 and were SEC East Champs. It's been a frustrating recruiting year. I remember last Jan/Feb where everyone pointed to 2017 to be an amazing recruiting year. Gibbs and Tee were practically in the bag and Stevens was somewhat of a possibility.
