I use PSVue too. I like it, but I have trouble with the guide. I can scroll through a few channels and it will take off to the far ends of the guide. Anyone else have this issue?

And fans of every other SEC school stand back and cheer our fall into CFB oblivion. The UT admin doesn't give a crap about being competitive in big Tim sports anymore. It is the revenge of the nerds.

I'm kind of glad that they don't want to be competitive in "Big Tim" sports. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I get just a little uncomfortable just reading it, so I'm guessing it's not something I want to see.

Thanks. And it wouldn't surprise me. CBJ though should've never made that statement if he wasn't prepared to cut folks that crossed lines out. If he'd have cut even one reporter out and God knows one in particular deserved it back then for the crap he wrote they'd have never grown emboldened. BUT he was too nice on that front. You just can't throw punches without also giving the media consequence. If he'd only made an example out of one and that would've been all he needed to let the media know.

But this is his first major gig where media was such a player and he's still not gotten used to it. I honestly think that trying to be open to all the media that shows up -- even if they're jokes and we have plenty who run websites from left field that don't deserve credentials and others that are too incompetent/irresponsible for them -- has been a major problem.

He'd have a hard time changing policies now unless a hard hitting AD made it his issue but CBJ can still adapt and a good AD will help him do just that. Hart has done a few good things but he's also been the most tone deaf AD we've had in a very long time and useless to CBJ and every other UT coach on this matter.

Hopefully, this changes with an AD who understands Tennessee or at least understands media and fans.

Do you have a product link for that you could share? I want to pick one up sometime and would like to go with something recommended by a trustworthy source such as yourself.

On a side note, I also use sling tv during the football season (use the sports package as well) and since CBS is free to watch online I didn't miss a game this year. I want an antenna but if you stream from online sources and that includes many standard TV setups that use online type services all you need is Sling and CBS to make sure you catch all UT games.

Only downside with my current setup is that you will occasionally miss out on a few games broadcast on ABC or whatever but I can find those games if I really, really want to and truth be told haven't really missed anything they've show. :)

LWS said his sources still see a quick Blackburn hire. Maybe pushed to after bowl game but not Feb. he knows Jimmys sources and they think Feb.

Ditto. I paid $70. It is small, and barely noticeable. All local Chanel's are in the highest quality HD.

Every time I call to threaten to cancel my internet, they give me a discount. Then try to sell me a package with TV. People seemed shocked that I don't want to include tv for pennies more.....

FWIW Doug Mathews on his show Sunday said the new chancellor was not expected to be responsible for the hire. The hire (likely of Blackburn) was already in the works and she merely needed to officially approve it.

With that said, perhaps she didn't like that arrangement, and decided she would take the bull by the horns once she came on board and thus the newfound delay.

I don't know. Not an insider and don't much care for the play-by-play drama of personnel hires. Just wake me when its over and the AD is hired.
