The Christmas Vacation sequel that came out about 5 years ago, with Cousin Eddie at the center was about what we all expected. A vomit laden pit of darkness that swallowed up happiness and kittens.

More and more we're hearing that the relationship between Hart and UT has soured. Now I'm wondering if the unnamed sources in the Haney article are AD staffers loyal to Hart getting back at CBJ and others in the program for their perceived lack of support for Hart.

It's human nature. Unless it's an actual retirement, nothing really good comes from a lame duck employee. The employee has no power, gets pissed, and probably sours other employees. My Dad was a corporate manager and always told me that he always just paid an employee for the necessary compensation and sent them on their way. No reason for them to hang around for 2 weeks and poison the well.

I didn't really think about it at the time it was announced, but leave it to UT to keep a bitter AD around who has no power. Get it done now.
