UF's DC Geoff Collins named Temple head coach.

Butch on the 247 article from last week: I don't stand for anybody attacking our program. I take that personally and we take it personally.


One of the confusing parts of that article is that Haney was giving up any press pass to a top SEC program by writing it. If Butch was gone or could have been, that'd be one thing but it's not the case. It was a nonsensical decision to write it on only Tennessee. If he did it on 5-8 programs that "underachieved", it'd be different imo

Love that Butch said this. We're fortunate that it hasn't affected us on the recruiting trail, well as far as we know anyway.

I think the big part of it (other than just not being that good 😉) may be that you guys are older than me and watched it free of the hype and preconceived title of a Christmas classic


It was all hyped up and people talked about how good it is, and when I watched it I was let down and unimpressed and thought it was crazy overrated.

Sam, I think you are close to my age. The movie is basically from our generation.

I am not a huge fan of watching movies multiple times and don't quote much. But I do understand the popularity.

I recently turned 33 (wow that sounds old). Born in 1983


It came out in 1989. And It's not exactly kid-friendly.

I think I maybe had seen parts of it through the years. But finally sat down and actually watched it a few years ago.

It was just ehhhhh for me.
