Anyone see the report that the Browns are enamored with Myles Garrett? He may end up be a fantastic pro, but you would think Haslam would have a bunch of information at his disposal about Barnett and might slow that roll. Just thought it was interesting.

All I know is that Barnett works hard, is talented, and has a great motor.

The St. Louis Cardinals were my other (besides the colts) favorite NFL team growing up, until they moved them to Arizona. Never did take to the Rams being moved from LA to St. Louis, so them moving back made no difference to me. I'd like to see the Cardinals move back to St. Louis though. For nostalgia sake more than anything probably.

I was never a Rams fan, just like to see the city do well economically since I'm nearby. My NFL affiliation is kind of spread out between the Bears, Cowboys, Raiders, and Chiefs. Weird I know, but I have my reasons for liking each.

Please let Harbaugh go back to the NFL

If for no other reason than not having to hear Chavis swooning over him so much on here. 🙂

I'm only Colts now, but growing up I was Colts, Cardinals, Vikings and anyone playing the Cowboys.

Not surprised. NFL takes measureables and perceived potential over production in college all day.

Barnett getting overlooked is an example of how powerful a media narrative can be. The talking heads proclaim Garrett is better than Barnett and people buy into it without validation. Hope Barnett gets the last laugh.

I think Garrett is going to be a total bust in the NFL. Nearly all of his production came against weaker opponents.

I'm not sure Barnett is getting overlooked.

Mock I saw this morning had him going #7 to the Panthers

I meant overlooked in college, especially in the SEC. Garrett seemed to get most of the attention and awards, while Barnett just went out and played hard week after week. Good to see Kiper's been moving him up. Kamara still seems undervalued, though.

all competing for kids in their own programs' backyards now. Gonna be a bit tougher for out of state programs to load up on kids from the Sunshine State.

Come to Pennsylvania, steal recruits from Jimmy Frank, eat pirogis and apple butter and craft beers.

Have seen some NFL talking heads say that the way that article was put out about a love fest looks like more of a Browns leak to drive up trade market for him to get another team to overpay for him.

I would much rather him stay at Michigan and be a thorn in Meyer's side.

Ehhhh

With them willing to pay Jim $9 M a year, do you think that kind of money would cause Saban to at least think about it?

Probably just wishful thinking
