So this situation is different from the Franklin case in that the potential players are MORE powerful and HIGHER ranking officials. THIS is why it is impossible for them to be involved in a pedo ring? Lol. Because they are MORE powerful? Solid logic. Lol.

Here's another interesting claim by you. Yet another illustration of how you are only thinking of this in terms of (R) vs (D). In the Franklin case, Republicans, Democrats, Judges, Police, etc. were all involved. Republicans won't want to expose this if they are implicated themselves.

My gut tells me this is a Flynn-fomented fake news story to distract us from Trump's very real pedophile case that was set to begin in October but somehow got bumped a few months. You know that civil lawsuit against our president elect that accuses him of raping a 13 year old with Epstein that absolutely no one is talking about.

And, indeed, instead of talking about it, CNN is currently talking about Pizzagate and that idiot from Salisbury.

The timing is all very convenient for the Trump team. A little too convenient, if you ask me.

But, if sufficient evidence comes to light, I'll admit I was wrong. Whether it's real or fake, I still think the Trump team is using it as a smokescreen. I can't blame them, I suppose. I mean its job is to defend a sleazeball, so you have to make do with what you have.

Yep. Fox is Republican news. CNN and NYT are Democrat news. When both Republicans and Democrats will be implicated in this scandal, don't be surprised when Republican news and Democrat news all try to convince you it is fake.

This is the logic which permeates the far right and loon conspiracy theorists. The reason there is no evidence is because it is part of the loon conspiracy that there be no evidence.

In fact, under your reasoning, absence of any evidence that it is true is, itself, evidence that it is true.

You know this Pizzagate theory predates Trump winning the election, right? The Podesta emails about playing chess on pasta were in like the 15th Podesta data dump or roughly around that time from Wikileaks about. Immediately Redditors began putting the pieces together.

None. They are all state sponsored. Trust Wikileaks. They have never successfully been refuted out of millions of leaks. The only problem is, Wikileaks isn't news. You have to be able to put the pieces together yourself, or at least be able to follow along in a crowd sourced investigation which will have dozens of dead ends. Still better than state sponsored news.

I'm not even sure Wikileaks can be trusted at this point. Lots of rumors that Assange is dead, done in at long last by pizzagate.

True, but it wasn't until recently that the Flynns started bantering it around, as I understand.

Anyhow, I think the problem that fake news people have is, ironically, the same problem that real news people with political biases have. Just as so many people now distrust reputable news sources, like the New York Times, as being fake, people who constantly pander in fake news will have a difficult time convincing people of the truth should they occasionally stumble across an actual unfabricated news story that still serves their political objectives.

As for me, I'll let the FBI do the work and let redditors stick to redditing. I still trust expertise more than I do the notion that everyone has an opinion.

I don't trust Wikileaks either. You don't think the US Government could/would have shut it down if they wanted to? That's all the proof I need to know that NOTHING can be trusted. The government is far too happy having a bunch of dullards overloaded with so much info that they can't see the forest for the trees.

I don't have much faith in the FBI either. They have had their share of pedophiles as well.
