His agent might put out some feelers. He was angling for a raise and extension lately.

The question is would Cincinnati want him back? Seems Purdue told him to go on somewhere.

I seriously doubt he would actually leave Tenn on his own. His agent may do a bit of posturing to try to bleed more money out of the AD.

Purdue was NEVER on the table and Jones isn't looking anywhere else.

Completely inaccurate. Several of our trusted insiders have stated Purdue was very much on the table. Now weather that was because Butch wanted to leave or was looking for more money, I don't know. My opinion is the latter.

He must of been bucking for a raise last week, hope it fell on deaf ears. Knowing the history of the UTAD he'll probably get a million dollar raise and a lifetime contract out of the deal...

There was something going on. That plane didn't fly itself to Purdue last week..

Why do people keep thinking Butch is looking to leave TN? This is absolutely ridiculous. Perhaps if his dream job came available (whatever that is), but to leave TN to go to a small program that he once coached at (e.g., Cincy) is the dumbest thing I've read in a long time.

Not even close. Responding to made up lies and slander posted by some on here in kind is not rude. If you're to sensitive to read truth then put me on ignore.
I'm sick of seeing the likes of some in here tear down my Vols on this and other sites as well as social media. The national media uses their idiotic tweets/posts to make us all look like dumb@sses like them. When in fact most of us are solid fans who love our team through good and bad.
