Two days ago...

"Remember the name Troy Calhoun for Purdue. Unless Butch is willing to take a pretty steep paycut or Purdue is ready to double its head coaching salary, I don't see that one happening.

Hazell was making $2.2 million before he was fired and Purdue didn't fire him last year because they would have owed him around $6 million and that was too much for them.

Again, if Butch is ready to take a paycut, or they are ready to make a much, much bigger investment in their football program (which it looks like they can't even afford that) then that's not happening."

Lol you aren't kidding. QuickSmurf is speeding through the FF doing productive drivebys, I'm warning him it's batchit crazy over there. I follow him back and here's part of the problem in here from the FF.

Catbone, westernkyvol ect ect. Although, very funny the different tone in their posts in here compared to over there. The insane asylums doors are definitely wide open at this point.

So here's a positive take. We really only wanted Breyon Gaddy. The twins are a package deal so we agreed to take both when some schools wouldn't do that. There was, at best, a 50/50 chance both would make it in academically, so we saved two spots for better risk prospects. And Cotman had never visited, so how serious was that? Losing Labruzza would be a bummer, but he's still in the class so, all in all, manageable losses.

butch stones yall. some may not care for his coaching but the man has proven he can recruit. we will see more dropped or decommit whatever and this rascal will end up with some ballers down the stretch as always.

In fixing this staff, where to begin?

Start by hiring the assistant S&C coach at bama. Pay him enough to bring all their protocols including how to use PEDs without getting caught...
