People need to keep in mind that coaching records in these other crap conferences can be deceiving. Winning at Colorado or western Michigan doesn't mean you can do it in the SEC.

These "proven winners" a lot of times are just winning in crap conferences. It can translate but doesn't always.

Just like Bob Shoop coming here with his stats. Didn't translate. Sure things are seldom sure.

Do you think the SEC better than the Pac12 this year?

It's sad, but Houston fans would be pissed if they hired Butch Jones. Hell, I don't think any fanbase outside of Central Michigan and Cincinnati would be even moderately happy with him. He's a better coach than the national perception of him, but not by much. I do think he could be very successful long-term at a mid-major, though.

When teams knew they could score 20 and win. I've been over why I thought his stats were deceiving.

Nobody wanted to hear it. His stats were overblown.

Media needs to be reigned in. I would have made an example out of Seth stokes last year when he pulled his stunt. I would have banned him.

Think about his statements to Hubbs earlier in the week. Talking about how he can't understand why everyone doesn't love him.

That was a red flag. Yeah we caught it and discussed it but damn he checked out. His demeanor on the sideline showed his give a damn is busted.
