Yeah, I don't see how it can work now. He'll hurt UT by staying and not being all-in-- and it won't be good for his career, either. I think he decided he wanted out after UT lost out on the SECE. The media caught him in the lie about the team goal not being to win the SEC East, then ridiculed him for his Champions of Life comment, and he just said, "***** 'em all; I'm done."

We scored 3 points in the second half against Vandy! We have Dobbs, Kamara, Malone and Jennings! 3 points! McElwain would kill for those guys! Imagine what he could do with them and his defense. They would be legit playoff threats. And we manage 3 points against Vandy!

I'm dead serious that I hate this guy more than Dooley right now. I was never even this mad at Dooley. Maybe it was because Dooley called a spade a spade but this lying POS pisses me off

I hate feeling so negative right now, but something tells me we end up with Gilbert, or some equally lackluster hire, with Blackburn right there for the taking. Except for hiring Shoop (and that hasn't turned out as hoped), we just don't seem interested in having competitive athletic programs anymore.

Hope I'm proven wrong.

Usually I'm just pretty dejected after a Vol loss. I'm pretty bummed out for a few days and then I'm ready to watch us play again. Tonight, I'm pissed off. I don't wanna watch anymore football. I don't wanna watch us draw a superior team in whatever mid-tier bowl we go to. It's just so damn maddening.
