Exactly. What decent coach would want to coach under a lame duck knowing full and well they won't have complete control over their side of the ball?

I agree here. I don't like hiring someone just for the name, but if we don't get someone in here that's known we're going to lose the one thing that Butch did well.

And he won't do that. I am afraid we will have one more year but I just can't see it getting any better. I can hope but just don't understand how he did not kick the FG on 4th down.

We had to be the last two holdouts. I don't see how he can make it back from this. Obvious locker room problems that he has allowed. Defense is a disgrace. He made a terrible hire at OC.

In game that decision to not kick has to be the worst call by one of our HCs in a long long time.

Then it needs to END NOW. Not next year. That stupid not going for two vs Florida and kicking FG's on the one inch line vs Okie and tonight going for it on 4 and 4 instead of a FG. Not showing up for the presser like a man should is just as embarassing as Dooley. Hire the AD this week and get it done and hire a new coach. I have taken up for him but doing what he did at the presser is not a COL or a VOL move but a puss y cat bone move. Kicked that Ga tail today you dawg loving kirbyboner cat.

Wow. The players are owning it in the presser that CBJ bailed on. Good for them. Proud of them for showing up and accepting responsibility. I'm ashamed of our coaches for leaving these young men to face the media alone. Bailing on the players is worse than losing, IMO.

I was defending him just this afternoon at kids b ball practice. Not anymore. Going to be hard making that donation in a few weeks.

What do you want Cat a Badge? Its not like you were the only one that saw we were struggling and had big problems especially on the D side. We all saw it but most choose to cheer for their team especially when they were 5-0 and don't tell me you knew all this at the end of the year was going to get this bad. I have always said, I will back CJ until he shows me he can't do the job. Well, tonight he showed me he can't do he job. You have been negative from the first day you posted. Alays giving up always complaining and never cheering for your team. So there is a difference I just believe in giving people a chance to succeed instead of dogging them the whole time and then come in gloating about it.

I love that attitude. I'll be mad/upset if gruden were to tank here (though his floor seems very high), but at least we made the biggest hire EVER. At least we tried, gave it our best. Instead of just settling for butch joneses and doolies.
