Any shot at Tommy Moffitt coming in as the strength coach with the coaching change at LSU? A new coach would be stupid not to retain him but some coaches like to bring in their own guys.

I guarantee that if you asked the coaches who they would rather face, Garrett or Barnett, they'd all say Garrett

What's funny about that is that's where I talked to Chavis one time, Waffle House.

I don't know Chavis at all other than bumping into him s couple of times out and about. He used to live in Powell where I did and I'd see him at Weigles in the morning getting coffee. He still has family here and I've seen him around here around Christmas time.

I didn't want him in the SEC...unless he was our HC. Scary what he could do with a SEC roster.

Prob not on Butchs list. He need to review resumes from the Olympic gymnastics team first

Easily.

Myles Garrett is the next Bruce Smith. He'll have a Hall of Fame NFL career.

Derek Barnett is the next Michael Bennett or Charles Johnson. He'll be a good 10 year starter. Might even make a pro-bowl or two.

But he's not a transcendent player like Garrett.

In the hardest division in college football? At a historically mediocre program? I understand they are in Texas, but getting an upgrade is far from a sure thing.

Imagine all the legendary coaching careers that would have taken hits if they were fired after 3-5 years like it happens today.

Myles Garrettt is the next Bruce Smith. He'll be getting 10-15 sacks every year. IMO he has the lowest bust potential of any player coming out this year. Which is why I would take him #1 overall in the 2017 draft.

He's the surest thing coming out this year.

I will agree with the one poster about WRs when comparing ours to the LSU guys. They've got more talent top to bottom than us at the position. We've got one guy that will win contested passes all the time they've got quite a few. Outside of that I'm not trading any of our offense O-line included.

Our o-line is hot garbage. I'd trade them for almost any other unit in the SEC.

Seriously though I think LSU has a better OL than us but I'm not sure how well suited they are to our style of offense.

Ask Florida which one gave them more fits. We actually scored on Bama with our backup linemen in. Giving them no respect after Florida beat them with backups.
