I bet tamu is glad that Myers Garrett decided to show up last week against mighty UTSA.
I guess he thought he didn't need to show up against a conference opponent

Same here. Super nice guy. He did well with LSU's great athletes. But that seems to be the common thread to me. He needs great athletes to make his system work. Otherwise, he never seems to make lemonade out of lemons.

But hey, he's made a ton of money and has a ring. Lots of guys he coached from all 3 programs playing on Sunday.

A&M would have to pay sumlin a lump sum of $15 million within 60 days if they fired him, I don't think they would do it.

That direct backward toss running play at the goal line by LSU is the single-worst play I've ever seen. Thankfully they still scored.

I'd wait until next year.

Less buyout for Sumlin and more than likely wouldn't be down the list of top jobs like they are this year

Why pay 2 coaches to go 8-4 next year when you can pay 1?

Agree with all of this. I probably shouldn't have said anything because I do respect him and appreciate him as a VFL. Didn't mean to disrespect him.

When the game plan is to run right at a certain defender that defender is not the best defensive player in the country.

It shows he's a one trick pony. Speed rush and that's all.

Florida loses to FSU and UT beats Vandy and we are 100% in the Sugar Bowl. UF beats FSU and it gets tighter, but we could still end up being there.

Honestly think Garret might be better off getting drafted into a 3-4 scheme as strictly a pass rush OLB. But with his hype he'll probably get drafted Top 5 and be labeled a bust while having a semi-productive career
