It would definitely be a huge challenge. We would have to outscore them and we can score, but we would need to get 2 more TO than we give and play very well on offense.

I think if Kongbo buys in he could flourish there. It would give him a couple months to practice and be a force and we would have 2 semi serviceable dts in vickers/kongbo with Mixon off the bench. If the offense plays like it has it could be a big12 shootout.

How big is Barnett? The reason i ask is maybe slide him inside and have Phillips and Vereen off the edge and Barnett and kongbo on the inside. Help eliminate the inside push we have been seeing.

Why would Jimbo go to LSU when he plays in one of the easiest conferences in football? His path to the playoff is so much easier there. Just beat Clemson and you're in

Just heard a rumor on the radio that aTm would dump Sumlin to hire Herman just to keep him away from Texas, if he'll agree to it.

Speaking of our DT situation, when are we going to see Mosley and Bain in the middle? They would surely help clog the middle better than our current situation. Use both of them as the nose tackle to clog, and rotate Vickers and Phillips and Mixon at the other tackle.

Yep, he's in the easiest conference at one of the easiest schools to recruit to. He'd be nuts to leave.

Haven't you learned? People don't want to talk about hard facts that aren't sunshine and puppy dogs... remember, just enjoy every win in short term bliss and don't look or worry about the next game or next season...
Apparently us giving up like 2,000 yds of offense over the past 2-3 games is not an issue and we will just simply score more points than our opponent, go to the Sugar Bowl, and win out... then magically all these recruits will be banging down our door in January begging to come in... SMFH--- oh, and yes, we have been riddled with injuries, but that automatically negates basically getting out-coached by lesser teams/coaches for most of our games and the clear lack of development of players in their second and third year needs to be forgotten.... Just enjoy the win BRO!

If that happens, here's something to ponder and don't laugh:

Texas comes after Butch, because they have seen him rebuild a program from the cellar up, and knows they could use that with where their program is currently. Also, they know he can change the culture like he has here. If we win this Saturday and our bowl, I will be very concerned he may decide he needs to move on. Would be a very bad thing for us to be involved in a coaching search this year. Too many huge jobs are open.

He did and fortunately appears to have gotten away with it. #16 deserved an azz whipping for that stuff.

The first of all you agreeing with Cat who quits on his team at least three times a game says it all. Second, Please enlighten us on how you would go about stopping the rush with what players we have left to play the DT position? No one on here never said it wasn't a issue but again please your so knowledgeable enlighten us since you have so much coaching experience. I would much rather be accused of pumping sunshine than the constant doom and gloom you and cat pump.
