He didn't get a second penalty and wasn't ejected. They called that bogus penalty on Boulware..."#72"...even tho he's #50.

I watched the 2nd half again yesterday, and right before the ref turned off the mic, he corrected the number from 72 to what I thought he said was 15. Immediately after the correction, the camera went on to JJ, so I am guessing they said 15 and not 50, which sounds very similar. I also noticed that JJ did not play again after that. That may have been Butch protecting against losing him if things got heated again, or maybe they did call it on him and he was ejected. Not sure...that's why I asked if anyone knew for sure.

The first unsportsmanlike was on Malone. I don't think JJ had one at the time of the scrum. If he was ejected it would've had to been announced and he would've had to leave the sideline(I'm pretty sure). Also I'd think that would come up in post game questions/articles if he was out for a half.

They would have announced an ejection. The ref never corrected the number but he called it on Boulware...which was bull since he merely tried to pull a player off of Kelly and wasn't doing anything that other Mizzou players weren't. Jennings wasn't in that mix.

Can anyone clarify the quote from Butch about not discussing the East? Someone quoted it in response to a question about the UF-LSU game. I think it makes a difference.

He's not fast lol. I'm sure the other guys had good hands too. Malone would of set an NFL record for drops this year.

Wtf are you talking about?

You stuck in 2015 like some others in the RF? I can't recall a drop for Malone since A&M. He has been damn good this year with very very very few drops.

I quoted UTSports' "post game quotes" and nothing about winning the East was in that quote. Since Butch has been here he has said you play for championships hundreds of times. I think this is just another lynch mob trying to skewer Butch for something a la punching Crowder in the gut.....

Good points. You are probably right. Thanks.

Can't seem to shake the feeling that if Butch can't get it done and win the east while the east is WAY down for his entire four year tenure here, he simply never will. The east should be much better next year, and we will likely take a step back. Perhaps the most telling sign of trouble is recruiting beginning to slip away. 21 three stars doesn't cut it in the SEC.

With an automatic SEC loss on the schedule in Alabama, any coach that comes here is

Doesn't really matter since pinfish clarified things, however, JJ was most definitely in the mix when Kelly was thrown to the ground. He was the first one there to try and get Kelly up when all of the pushing ensued. I even thought I saw JJ throw a little punch.

They called it on Boulware...even Gary said so.

That really doesn't count… I think it took seven or eight overtimes to score that many points and win that game. Still remember Witten catching that pass on a seam route to win.

It was the final score and he asked when was the last time we scored that many. But I know where your coming from. They played in a sense 2 full games to get 63. That was a crazy game.

Who are our potential opponents if we get the Sugar? Citrus?

Sugar - winner of okl/osu or loser if Okl makes playoff

Citrus - I believe big10 #2 which would be one of the loser of conference title game or loser of osu/mich don't know how that will play out

We definitely agree on this one. Overall, Malone has been our most consistent and best receiver. JJ has also been incredible. It has been a joy to watch both of them this year.

Since we have a automatic loss on the schedule in Bama, it is obtuse for everyone to keep throwing that asinine statement about the East being down out there. It literally makes their job easier. Especially since we played the most of the year with a decimated roster. There is no sacrificial scale goat for anybody to burn. Why doesn't everybody just accept that? Without the unbelievable injury plague, we are 11-1 and looking at a playoff berth. Just accept it..the FREAK INJURY epidemic hurt the season. You should be thankful it didn't destroy it. Florida endured a plague like this a couple of years ago and went 4-8. Mushchamps team quit....Butches team didn't...or at least hasn't yet. I'm hoping they realize they still have a lot to play for, and don't mail it in this Saturday. There is still a big prize available with a good performance, and a bit of luck.
