The only "lucky" play I see from this year was the end zone fumble from App State. We were extremely lucky there.
I tend to think there was an element of luck at the end of the Georgia game.
First was the 15 yard penalty on Georgia after their touchdown. It gave us an extra 15 yards when they kicked to us. Without that dumb penalty, who knows?
Second was the Hail Mary at the end of the game. I don't know the stats but that play is pretty much a lucky play. I really doubt that play results in a TD very many times. Georgia had at least 6 or 7 guys in the end zone---all of them were behind Jennings. That has to be luck. If 1 Georgia player had been in front of him, who knows?

Jack Jones in the dog house?
I do not have any indication Jack is in the doghouse. I know the hand/thumb cast was the issue to sit him vs TTU, and he wasn't as effective bc of it at USC.
But he played a ton last week & held up fine. It's confusing, but a topic we will ask about Saturday in post-game.
That was a one on one play. Have you not watched our guys get beat one on one all year? Call it what you will but the Hail Mary was truly lucky.

the entire string of events that allowed us to even attempt the hail mary were lucky. Foreman blown coverage on td play, Rico running off the sideline to get unsportsmanlike penalty 15 yds, offside on KO 5 yds, Berry quick return. Dobbs throw, Jennings fighting for the ball. He even bobbled it on the way to the ground.
These aren't luck.
We put in a special kick off team/formation to bait them into kicking it to Berry. That's coaching.
Dobbs throwing the ball into the endzone isn't luck. That's not exactly splitting the atom. He threw the ball to a designated spot.
Jennings fighting for the ball is luck? Please. The guy always fights for the ball.
Bobbling is luck? Pretty clean catch for a hail mary grab draped with defenders.
