Think I'm gonna start a rumor about DeBord and tweet about it. What's more likely to make him "retire"-- he likes preteen girls... embezzled team money to support his pricey cocaine habit... was seen in a dark alley in a parked car with a cross-dresser??? Or hey, maybe, he was spotted on the grassy knoll with a suspicious gun-shaped black object? Nah, he's not that old. Oh, well, who cares? People will run with it.

Try that during his pool cleaning days he wore sunglasses so he could scope out both male and female students. He does have a pedafile look to me anyway

There is merit behind him being a locker room problem. Luginbill wouldn't say what he said if it was otherwise

Haven't heard Luginbill's comments, but he's usually pretty rational. Hurd was never one of the more popular players. Not a team leader. Not universally liked. I'm sure some of the players are glad he's gone. But he wasn't benched, suspended from the aTm game or kicked off the team. The players didn't vote him out. Not all of them wanted him to go. From what I hear, a lot of them disliked PWilly much more.

That's something we can both agree on.

I don't have any delusions about Butch. I want him to be Dabo. Run the program, make good hires, recruit and get out of the way and let players make plays. Up until this season, he's always had a well prepared, disciplined football team. Something hasn't jived with this team but it's fixable.

He isn't going to be Saban, Petrino or Meyer. No one we would hire would be those guys. Envy is the thief of joy.

I still think Butch can get it done here. He's proven he's not afraid to make tough decisions to better the program and I have confidence he will keep doing that.

We talked about how weak the coaches in the East were the other day, but with Spurrier, Miles and Pinkel gone, SEC coaching as a whole has taken a significant step back. It's Nick Saban's conference and no one else is remotely close.

Tom Luginbill's reaction to Jalen Hurd's transfer: "I think the team's locker room will be better off for it, despite depth being worse."

This is the perception of his locker room presence. Anyone thinking he will get drafted hasn't watched enough drafts.

Sounding more and more like Hurd is the new Arian Foster, good and bad.

That's interesting. He has good wins, and he has bad losses. While I think he is solid, I just can't say that I would take him over Butch.

He won three straight Big10 titles.

He's won head to head.

Coaching in a tougher job in a tougher division.

Apparently quoting another poster, but LWS wouldn't do that unless he believed it to be true. Doesn't sound like much new info, just confirmed what happened during the UGA game about Hurd disrespecting CBJ after the fumble, no concussion or injury. Hurd missed 3 practice days the next week not because of injury, and there was a team vote to keep him on the team but to sit out A&M.

Something new was that Hurd took himself out of the game at USC, and when Kelly got dinged up he was asked to go back in and refused. Then the Carlin fumble happened, and Dobbs got in Hurd's face blaming it on him and that he quit on the team.

Then the Sunday team meeting occurred, and Hurd walked out of the meeting after being called out by teammates.

You should be a 24/7 writer you stuff is just as unbelievable as their stuff

I'm calling it. UF has beaten NOBODY and I don't think they're even a top 25 team. I think they lose to arky LSU and fsu

The only thing is that their offense has looked better than I thought they would. I agree though, I think Arky gets them this weekend.

I think they take one out of three-- beat Arky and lose to LSU and FSU. Which helps us nada. That miserable, inexplicable, execrable loss to SCAR killed us.

Last one I agree with.

He won the Big 10 pre-Harbaugh, Meyer, and Franklin. Unlike in the SEC, he played in the weaker Big Ten division. In the year of his second title, Hoke was at Michigan, and the interim coach was at OSU. For his third, Wisky went 8-5 that year, and Meyer was ineligible for postseason play while going 12-0. Not sure how that really counts.

Would be funny to see Muschamp gameplan and beat Florida. Del Rio is BAD at QB.

You're right. We're forgetting about SCAR. Muschamp would love to kill both UF's and UT's season in the same year-- with a terrible team that's struggling to make a bowl. That would be such an SECE thing to happen.

Yeah I'm not a fan of Bielema like that. His team is looking worse than us. They've turn the ball over and not showed up in multiple games.
