Someone posted an excerpt of the rule, and it said that you can only transfer down a division and play immediately if you have 2 years of eligibility. No matter what he did, he'd have to sit a year.

Thanks a bunch. Any chance you could tell me where to find that? I have never heard of that.

based on resume, rank these coaches:

Coach A:

7-6 (3-5)
8-5 (3-5)
9-4 (5-3)
10-3 (6-2)
3-5 (1-4) (likely to finish 6-7 or 7-6)

Coach B:

3-9 (0-8)
7-6 (2-6)
8-5 (5-3)
5-3 (1-3) (likely to finish 7-6 or 8-5)

Coach C:

5-7 (2-6)
7-6 (3-5)
9-4 (5-3)
5-3 (2-3) (likely to finish 10-3 or 9-4)

Coach D:

12-2 (7-1)
8-5 (4-4)
7-6 (2-6)
6-2 (4-1) (likely to finish 10-3 or 9-4)

Coach E:

11-2 (6-2)
9-4 (4-4)
8-5 (3-5)
8-5 (4-4)
7-1 (4-1) (likely to finish 12-1 or 11-2)

You guys aren't much fun, but based on resume I'd go:

1. E
2. C
3. D
4. A
5. B

Kelly looks really good. All SEC good.

Probs to AV.

And to Butch.

Do you think there has been friction with hurd and the online? Seems like they block better with AK and JK but hurd it almost seems they could give two flips sometimes.

A. Mullen
B. Bielma?
C. Butch
D. Malzahn
E. Sumlin

What's the chances we see Sheriron Jones on saturday if everything goes to plan? He's earned some snaps imo

I wouldn't unless Dormady gets hurt. Don't want Jones getting injured. Knowing our luck then Dobbs would go down then Dormady would go down and we would have to burn JG redshirt.

I would tell him starting in January it's wide open between the three of them and may the best man win.

I'd take Butch over Freeze and Bielema, but I'd take Sumlin and Malzahn over Butch. Does that answer your question?

Just on records I would go
E
C
D
A
B

But if you add that A beat Bama twice and won the Sugar Bowl

Or

if D won the SEC and went to nat'l Champ game

Or

if E had a player win the Heisman and won the Cotton

order might change

Funny when you look at it like this. Butch is the only one who has improved every year. I absolutely believe he should stay. I also think there are some issues with player development and play calling

I agree as of right now. Remains to be seen what the end of the year holds. He could lose 3 more games and that is definitely not progress.

This is what I read, and of course, who know the validity of it, but I can only guess it's accurate...

"If transferring to a Division I school, the athlete must play a sport other than football, men’s or women’s basketball, or baseball. The exception is that an athlete can transfers to a Football Championship Subdivision (FCS or I-AA) school and use this exception provided he or she has at least two seasons of competition remaining. In Division II, any sport may use the one-time transfer exception."

Damn.

Bottom 10: Tennessee Volunteers drop into fifth spot

We are getting skewered by the media. Rightfully so.

I don't know why it had to be this way but it needs to be fixed.

Butch just needed one big season and the program could have mostly stayed out of the crosshairs for a while. Even going 10-3 this year will do nothing to change the narrative. He had to win the East (which is still possible, but very unlikely).

He will remain "Botch Jones" for another 11 months minimum. It's sad. I like him and want him to succeed.

Every 20 minutes or so on arky radio I have to hear something like "but at least we aren't a dumpster fire like tennessee. Butch would have been exposed long before now if he had to play in the west like Bielema. You don't hear about these internal issues here at arkansas like tennessee has"

Brutal radio week for me

The players love Kelly as well.

I remember several of them saying after the Texas A&M game that we can't hide John Kelly anymore. The world now knows what we've known all along.

10-3 can't be used against him by many teams on the recruiting trail. I know two teams who won't be able to use it and that's Georgia and Florida.
