Does Cam even bother trying to come back now and play down the stretch?

He's a competitor and a winner, unlike some pansies on our roster who have taken the high road. If he is cleared to go and 100%, he will come back and play.

I'll say it again. He either got booted or he and his advisors are idiots.

Nothing else really make sense unless Butch was water boarding him after practice. Taking a 5-7 round contract at RB at age 21 in 2017 is probably better, financially, than gambling on the chance of a TE contract at 23 in 2019. That's stupid.

So, basically, he made NFL teams question whether he's a quitter or lacks mental toughness to the extent that it impacts his off-field decision making and impacts his team.

I suggested to a friend the other night that if you're getting drafted on the first two days, an NFL team takes the time to look into those things and see if there is an explanation. If you're going late on the last day, they probably just skip on to somebody else. Especially at a deep position like RB.

This move cost him a lot of money.

I'd reckon there's a alot people that knew him that aren't sympathetic to him given everything that is out.

It's sad we have 2 OL coaches, returned basically everyone, have talent, and have an oline that has struggled so much this year

It's sad, but it's not hard to figure out. Our OL is made up of guys who were lightly regarded recruits (I know. I KNOW. Eddie Moore was a 2 star recruit when he was here.), guys who have changed positions, and higher regarded guys who were projects (not even going to call them busts). Then, guys who should be your stabilizing, anchor guys like Jones and Hall, are either injured or inexplicably left out of the lineup for half the year.

Our program doesn't make any sort of jump until the philosophy on OL personnel improves from head up someone's ass status.

Shortsightedness

Dat I-formation tho

Anyone see the leading receiver in the country is Trent Taylor at La Tech? I frantically googled him to make sure it wasn't our former DE who transferred out

Just got a text from the News Sentinel that Jalen Hurd is still enrolled. Leaving that carrot dangling.

He is transferring. Not dropping out of school.

Edit: He isn't actually gonna go through with the transfer IMO but my point is that even if he was, he wouldn't do it in November. Not logistically possible I wouldn't think. He needs to finish his semester here.

Guys in all reality it's all a big smoke screen to protect butch and the university form the pending concussion lawsuit. Hurd is just resting up for next year when we will unleash the true powers of the i form all year next year./end blue font

What's the point of transferring if he isn't going to play college ball again and is planning on entering the 2017 draft?

My point was just that he can't transfer in November.

He is going to the draft IMO. I think I've made that pretty clear that is what I believe.

GFW is there anything else you can tell us because clearly there are some major problems simmering behind the scenes. Too much smoke to think otherwise and the way the team looks this year. Like they don't respect Butch anymore as their head coach is what I see. Several other posters in the FF saying there are internal problems, clearly player development is horrible, it just feels like the bubble is about to burst.

The morning show on 104.5 (Nashville) had their weekly segment with Andy Staples (SI writer) who stated Hurd's options are to stay in school and 1) graduate (could be a graduate transfer and play next year), 2)opt for the draft or 3) transfer down to a lower division...

The Voladrama never ceases :thud:
