I'm starting to believe you. Same team after the bye week as before the bye week. If we continue playing like this, Florida won't need to help us by losing. The outcome of their games won't matter.

Nope.

This is all a hot mess. When you see every first half all season (8 games) no matter the level of opponent look like this - it is the entire O system.

Opponents are not stupid. They have studied this system, the scheme, the play calling, the players tendencies, etc. for 4 seasons now. The system is still the same one with minimal changes other than eliminating the bubble screen for the most part when Jake left. There are many talented offensive players on this team that do not fit this system of play. But they are forced to play it that way instead of the coaches adjusting the system to the talent.

How often do we run crossing routes? Slants? Posts?

Defenses never have to defend the middle of the field or defend anything past 25 yards down the field

Jauan Jennings is being used as basically a flanked out fullback. throw him the ball with him running AWAY from the LOS

The Cocks are playing a deep zone forcing underneath throws. We can't throw deep until Dobbs proves he can complete underneath balls and we know that won't happen consistently. They are going to make us drive the ball.

We get upset once and we don't make it. Seems likely to me as well. UF won't beat Ark and LSU on the road, will likely win at Arky and lose to LSU, but we may lose another so it won't matter.

I mean, do we really deserve to go? We are playing about as bad as anybody not the east right now. FL is playing much better football.

Yep. We are scared to death to throw the ball deep down the field and let JJ or Malone go up and make a play. They did it against us, and got 2 PI penalties.

My god fellow long suffering Vol fans, we aren't winning the east my god. We aren't even going to win this game more than likely. Anyone scared of playing Kentucky now? I sure as hell am.

If we lose to any of these teams on the back end of our schedule we most definitely don't deserve it.

Not on 1st downs they aren't. They are crowding the box on run downs

I have no idea why the staff insists on putting Byrd and Jennings on offense. They touch the ball maybe 1-2 times per game instead of being in on every play other side of the ball.

My point is that there are plays in our pocket that aren't reads and bubbles and QB runs, but we don't run them. Is that Butch's fault? I guess indirectly. He's the coach over everything, but he isn't calling plays. I think with a competent play caller we could be much better. JMO though
