Same feeling here. Hopefully the OC is out as well. I don't wanna see a kid as talented as JG wasted in this bs scheme. It has to change. Butch has to stop being so stubborn.

This football team is not very good right now. I don't think you can blame it all on injuries either. This is the worst first halves of football I've seen from the Vols in a long time.

Butch manned up and let his guy go at DC in order to improve, now he needs to hire an OC to run the offense and back away from his MAC scheme.

I don't claim to have better info. I agreed it's Butch's offense, I'm just saying play calling I don't think is on Butch. The offense isn't the problem, the play calling is the problem (IMO). I'm also saying, it doesn't matter who you know, you don't know first hand Butch is the main reason the offense sucks

This looks like a Dooley coached team right now, and I mean that in the most serious way possible, no hyperbole.

I wonder if Mark Elder was a bigger loss on the staff than we thought. Special teams haven't been nearly as dominant or made many splash plays. Just in general this team doesn't do the little things well at all. It's disappointing because that was a Butch Jones staple his first 3 years here.

My 10 year old just pointed this out.

We would be 1-6 if we only played the first half. Not sure if that is totally accurate but it is close. Let's wait on giving up till the end of the 4th quarter and see if we are still behind. To be honest, I hate this offense and will be disappointed if we don't blow them out.

Can we please throw down the field on 1st down this half!?! And if dob s keeps turning it over, make a change to someone who will protect the football

Still blows my mind that we don't have some sort of short yardage package to get Hurd running downhill.


It seems like willful, stubborn ignorance to refuse to have a package with a few plays for him in those situations.

We are going to drop games to USCe, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt because of this piece of crap offense. We are lucky to score anything at all. You have a god d--m QB known for his running ability yet we don't utilize it. I hope the next AD has a set and puts butch on notice. This crap is not going to cut it.

Well they won't kick consistently to Berry and Sutton has been hurt all year.

That's the big difference. IMO
