Knowing where Aleppo is located doesn't have a damn thing to do with fixing our budget, education, monetary policy, immigration policy, campaign finance reform, etc.

You know, the things that need to be addressed and actually affect the citizens of our own country.

There are no winners or losers in free trade. Trade only takes part if both parties agree to it.

A trade deficit does not mean the US government is losing billions nor that we owe billions to China. It's a deficit. Not a debt. It means US citizens buy more Chinese goods than Chinese but American goods. It's not a bad thing. It occurs because they're dirt poor and can't afford the things we export.

No one can steal your job. It isn't lying around your home for someone to sneak out with when you're not looking. They can do a better job or offer a better price. And being able to make the product at a cheaper price is what advances the standard of living.

Priebus cancels TV appearances, advises RNC staffers, and congressional candidates to "do what's best for them." It's every man for himself in the GOP now. RNC is diverting all assets to the down ballot.

Go ahead and show me the occupy democrats post that says what I just mentioned. I would be impressed to see a democrat who understands free market capitalism.

I've not done a whole lot, admittedly, but I have tried the best I know how to keep people like you from continuing to dumb down this society.

It's doubtful I've succeeded, but all I can do is try.

Donald Trump has said three factually accurate things during his campaign. Only three things. The rest have been lies, but here's his factually accurate statements:

1. W. Bush didn't keep us safe.

2. American government is corrupt and a system for the elites

3. "I was wrong."

That's it.

As I said, you may very well be right.

This election has revealed to me that there are a lot of very bad eggs in our society. We need an entire culture change. Sadly, while democracy is the most flexible and adaptive single, unitary political system, once it goes bankrupt - morally and politically - it makes itself extremely difficult to fix. Perhaps even impossible. An entire culture change is needed, and I'm not sure any of us or any party will be able to deliver.

I didn't think it was possible for Trump to sink even lower than what he has, but this Bill's sex victims video that was just shared by the Trump campaign is exactly that. He appears with several famous Bill victims at a press conference and lets them each criticize Bill while he just sits in the middle. So, these women criticize a man who isn't even running for president for doing things to them that the man they're appearing with has done to other women.

What is this?

The CNN panel is speechless. We've never seen anything like this man or his campaign. This is the lowest this country has been morally in a long time.

As I've said, the Trump campaign is the end product of postmodernism. Its only values are simulation, relativism, cynicism, doubt, and self-loathing. It is the very opposite of what it claims. And it is made all the more appalling by the fact that his most ardent and passionate supporters are self-styled "morals" and "values" voters, the ones who told us they were opposed to everything postmodern society represented.

Well, the ruse has been exposed for what it really is - nothing but bitter, cold, biting rage. Rage is a lot, but it is not a policy and it is not leadership.

The conventional construct of this election has been the voice of the people v. the establishment. Who will win?

The more I think of it, this may be wrong. The election may be just as much a referendum on the people as it is the establishment. Americans may actually be voting more for whether or not they want to kick "the people" back into the basement, where many of the nutbags truly belong once and for all, than for whether or not they're fed up with the establishment.

There is no defense for most of Trump's self inflicted stupidity. The thing is that somebody dredges up this old stuff - the character assassination - for a reason. As long as democrats can keep something like this in play, then they don't have to deal with Hiliary's real problems - gross incompetence and probable criminal behavior.

The amazing part is that as soon as someone suggests retaliatory garbage slinging by Trump - well, that's different. It's hard to see how Trump can win against his own ineptitude, the democratic campaign against him, the media, and the diversity squad (better known as political correctness) when real matters (like national security) just don't matter.

The media present the Republicans denouncing Trump as people stating that he is unfit without ever bringing up that real issue - that they are running for reelection in many cases and distancing themselves for their own good. Probably too many in the media have just been too busy dodging sniper fire to use their position to be sexually predatory - or else they might be just a bit two faced about the whole thing. I happen to agree with you - just a civilization in decline - the "end product of postmodernism."

The USA needs a good old fashioned rule with an iron fist dictator. Just for a little while. Then people will finally understand what all of those people died for back "in the day".
