2016 Election Thread Part Deux

Social Media Patterns Show Trump Is Looking at a Landslide Victory

Current polls show the race for President is much tighter than it really is. Ann Coulter warned us years ago in her best seller Slander that Democrats and the liberal media always use polls to manipulate and discourage conservatives from voting. Thanks to social media there is more and more evidence that the polls are way off and if things stay as they are, Trump will win in a landslide!

It’s evident Hillary has a hard time filling a Union Hall while Trump regularly turns people away from his stadium and arena venues.

Now this – Analysis from social media provides additional support that Trump is likely to win in a landslide.

So how bad is it?
Evidence from ‘The Truth Division’ shows that if you look at social media, Trump is killing Hillary!

Facebook

Trump: 10,174,358 Likes
Clinton: 5,385,959 Likes

Trump has nearly double the amount of ‘Likes’ that Clinton has!

When comparing recent ‘live streams’ on Facebook:

Trump Live Stream Post — 135,000 likes, 18,167 shares, 1.5 million views
Clinton Live Stream Post —11,000 likes, 0 shares, 321,000 views

As wacky and Trumpy as all the above sounds, this is what really worries me: that Trump has what it takes to get out the nutjob base that supports him. Unlike in most elections, when these loons sit at home, smoking their meth and talking about how if it wasn't for Coach putting in the other guy they'd all be NFL players now, they'll actually come out to vote for Trump. Hillary has no such support from the equally loony leftist voter. They're all either too "pure" in their own minds to vote for a raging "conservative" like Hillary or are all still too pissed about the Bernie ordeal. These mouthbreathers will not be voting for Hillary the way the mouthbreathers will be voting for Trump.

The Trump base is so enraged by eight years of a black presidency and the fear that a Black Lives Matter member will murder them in their own beds while they sleep at night that they'll get out the vote for Trump wholesale. Meanwhile, the leftist loons have become too complacent and decadent from eight years of finally being convinced "America is progressing." They will not vote for Hillary, convinced, as they are, that their "purity" is the most important thing.

If this mattered, our last two presidents would have been Howard Dean and Ron Paul.

It's wacky, for sure, but there's kind of a logic to the madness, isn't there?

The basic point I'm trying to make, at least, is that there are quite a few Trump True Believers. Men, as they just about all are, who will go out an vote for the first time in no telling how long.

Hillary, on the other hand, has hardly any True Believers. Lefty True Believers were all Bernie. And, what's more, many of them will probably either refuse to vote or will vote for the liberal version of a "man walked with dinosaurs" believer in Jill Stein.

I have more than a few friends who were Bernie supporters who are so terrified of Trump, they are going to vote for Hillary. Maybe they're the exception, but I doubt it.

Many of them will get on the Hillary Train, I'm sure. It's only me postulating, but I figure that only 60-70 percent of people who answer polls actually vote (still more than the general populace). All that responded "Trump" will be voting, True Believers or not. The Clinton respondents, perhaps not so much. Even so, this may not be enough for Trump to win. Scared white people used to do a lot for a candidate, but they can only take you so far these days.

Times have changed since then.

Any one know how Reagan was polling prior to his first election? It was bad, no?

And how did that turn out?

Trump to deliver a speech on ISIS tomorrow in Ohio.

This should be good.

I'm still waiting on Trump to go "Maximus" on all of us for the fools we are.

"Are you not entertained!"

He can be King of Facebook, for all I care. Or Lord of Twitter.

Just not POTUS.

This can't be real, right? It was retweeted by Michael Weiss, a man who has forgotten more about ISIS than our resident ISIS experts on here, but still: this can't be real, right!

She's a crazy-eyed woman, the kind of whack job that probably thinks she will one day give birth to Trump's super fascist baby, in her own mind, but no way someone says this out loud.

But it is the Trump campaign, my god. She would be the kind of loon that is a True Believer. We have some True Believers of this vein among us here too. Credit to Katrina Pierson for at least having the manliness to make it public to the whole world while attached to a real name.

Ignoring the fact that polling wasn't as extensive or reliable back then, Reagan was doing much better than Trump against an incumbent president. He was polling even with Carter at this time before he rocked the debates and put him away.

She has to be intentionally sabotaging the campaign. At this point CNN is begging for her to come on every day just so she can embarrass herself again.

I only hire the best people, folks. Believe me.

I remember when Dukakis led Daddy Bush by 10 at this point, anyone who thinks Trump isn't capable of pulling this off, you need to take off the blinders.

I'm guessing there are plenty of liberals who would have stayed home or gone third party if one of the other GOP candidates had been nominated. Fear of Trump is the only thing dragging them to the polls to cast their vote for someone they despised for almost a year. Some will vote for Stein or Johnson.

The enthusiasm gap is something to watch, though. We saw that with Brexit. I'm not sure it's enough to make up for a 10 point deficit in swing states, but if the polls tighten I wouldn't count him out just yet. He's running out of opportunities quickly, and despite what some believe the debates are not going to go his way unless he learns policy and/or Hillary has a seizure on stage.

Sure, its three months away. Things could happen that could swing it. With each passing day, that seems less and less likely. Especially because every 2-3 days Trump makes some remarkably dumb comment.

At first I thought those were recent tweets, but upon another look, I see that they are from 2012 mostly.

She was a Trumper before she even thought about being a Trumper evidently.

If he wants to replicate that he should probably quit running a Dukakis-esque campaign. Stop flinging Infowars conspiracies around and take Clinton to task with actual arguments rather than incoherent rambling.

Anything a possible right? I mean Obama visited 57 states. Can't say that wasn't dumb, right?

The fight for justice against CORRUPTION is never easy. It never has been and never will be. It exacts a toll on our self, our families, our friends, and especially our children. In the end, I believe, as in my case, the price we pay is well worth holding on to our dignity.

Very dumb gaffe. If Obama had doubled down later and said that there actually were 57 states, then it would be approaching what Trump is doing right now.

We know the GOP candidate is facing a stacked deck from the start. Drawing attention to your gaffes and refusing to admit fault is not a good strategy.

In an ill-timed interview with National Public Radio, leading NeverTrump pundit Glenn Beck told the NPR host that he can “relate to” Black Lives Matter organizers and that has changed his position on the group’s slogan. Using a strange analogy about pie, Beck lectured people on the right that they “aren’t really listening” to Black Lives Matter in a segment that aired just before black rioters in Milwaukee targeted white people, attacking police and setting fires.

If it makes you feel better to keep insulting people and making snarky comments about the guy about to leave office, go right ahead. Won't make a difference in who wins in November.

Don't feel bad. The right continues to seem to be obsessed with somehow winning against, or delegitimizing, both Obama and Bill Clinton. Meanwhile, what little power you had left is rapidly fading.
