Dabo's underground recruiting tunnel was found to come up in Spognardi's office. Trap door in the floor under a rug. Heads bout to roll. TIFWIW

Said on 1180 it's not NCAA related ("early indications").

Didn't land on Knox County Sheriff's 24 hour stupid list either:

Paid administrative leave can result from something relatively benign like insubordination, intentional or unintentional misrepresentation of facts, failure to adhere to administrative policy-- even something like pushing a reporter out of the way, getting in a verbal argument with a player, dressing inappropriately, saying something controversial or perceived to be in poor taste or acting in way that reflects negatively on the university.

Administrative leave is subject to broad interpretation, and UT could be erring on the side of caution by putting Spognardi on leave while a complaint is investigated. It may or may not be serious... but it doesn't look good for Spognardi or UT.

Administrative leave in my experience almost always ==

* Inappropriate behavior of a sexual nature (from off-color jokes at the wrong place and time to sexual harassment/assault/adultery);
* Inappropriate behavior of a financial nature (gambling problems, fraudulent behavior, misappropriation of organization supplies or equipment);
* Alcohol/drug problems; or
* Loyalty issues (disrespectful behavior toward authority figures, undermining organizational goals, etc).

I would not be surprised to hear it is any of those types of things.

As long as it doesn't involve the NCAA or our players directly, everything else is manageable.

Go Vols!

I agree. Most likely one of these.
