2016 Election Thread Part Deux

But you're going to vote for her.

No, I really do not think I am.

I have friends who complain to me that if I do not vote then that helps Trump. But I can tell when they say it they are very, very close to whispering "But you're right."

Everything about her is fake and despicable. The real Hillary she hides must be a bat$hit demon alien from hell. I'm still waiting to see it bust out of her chest. Kurt Russell will have to kill it like he did in The Thing.

I agree she is fake as hell. As far as despicable, I don't think she is malevolent. Just incredibly ambitious, and will say whatever she needs to say (or act like an idiot) if it will get her votes.

Not that this makes her different than other politicians. She's just so bad at it.

But from what I keep hearing is that white educated males all vote democratic. It's only the stupid uneducated white males that are allowed to vote republican against their own best interests.

You mean lies. Trump's lies are about 45 degrees off course. However, Hillary's lies are 180 degrees off course and in your face. She lies right into the camera without reservation or hesitation. What kind of person is that and what is she so ambitious to accomplish? The ends must be more sinister as these despicable means.

"Allowed to?"

No.

The uneducated (or in the case of UT fans posting on a message board, the "poorly educated") have the option to vote for him and some on here apparently will, though most will do so reluctantly.

Poorly worded on my side, but you got the idea.

In my daily travels across this planet, I have yet to meet anyone who actually WANTS Trump to be President.

I'd say about 4 out of 10 people I meet do not want HRC to be president. But literally no one wants Trump to be POTUS.

"Literally no one" sounds like a very smart person.

I really don't either, but what I'd like to see happen is him win and shake the F out of the old established tree. Where I see us going is backwards on a treadmill and we're damn near close to falling off the back.

Unless something changes and we get away from this stalemate and do something positive, we're doomed. Something has to change and I'll think he'll change it. It might be painful, but it has to be done.

Ordinarily, when it comes to my attention that someone is a Trump supporter, I just think them a loser and move on. However, you're clearly no loser and have a rational reason for voting for Trump. It is a well-intentioned reason. But I just can't understand what about his record, stretching back for decades, makes you think he will fulfill your admittedly reasonable desire - that he will shake up the establishment?

In my assessment, the guy is simply the bloated elite who finally figured out the best way to beat all the other bloated elites.

Personally, I think Trump actually loves this country and wants the best for it. I think "make America great again" is more than a campaign motto for him.

I truly believe that he wants the best for the US and even though his delivery sucks, I do think he is a patriot. His desire to re-negotiate these really job killing trade agreements that our politicians have gotten us into over the years makes me want to support him.

Manufacturing jobs in the US are the only way we can support ourselves. We should put more effort into the trades like Germany does instead of college to support them though. Technically competent people are hard to come by these days.

Not everything Trump says is unreasonable or ridiculous (just the majority of the things he says). I don't disagree with him, for instance, that we've gotten some bad deals, as he would say, that only serve our elites while costing the little man.

I guess it's a matter of perception, but, given the man's history of pathological lying (combined with his history of hiring illegals and outsourcing), it seems largely to me like just a bunch of pandering. While the most anti-intellectual nominee in our nation's history, he knows how to play to an audience - like a perfect demagogue - and tell them only what they want to here. I think he has neither the will nor the power to deliver upon his promises.

And if he were to actually find that will and to actually find that power, then I think he would truly become the American Erdogan that he so closely resembles in principle.

Bull shiite. (D) is all that matters to your kind. And the fact that you do not believe she is malevolent confirms it. That kunt is pure unadulterated evil dude. Corrupt beyond belief.

Vote your conscience is what I tell people. You can't complain unless you vote.

I don't think he is pandering at all. I think his message about our country has been fairly consistent for 20 years or so--even before he was running.

"The country is broken. Someone please fix it. I think I could do it, but would rather someone else do it."

I've really begun to think that Trump loves this country and is doing what he thinks needs to be done to fix it. Is he perfect? No. Obviously not. Does he have character issues with his apparent pettiness at times and such? obviously. but I think he loves the USofA and is genuinely doing what he's doing for the benefit of the country, from his perspective.

Do I like his pettiness? Of course not. Do they compare to the massive character issues and obvious power hunger/selfishness/lying/vindictiveness/greed/corruption found in his opponent? Again, of course not.

Viva Trump - Pence!

I WANT Trump to become president and for his Justice Department to indict the most CORRUPT politician in all of American politics, and send her sorry worthless ass to prison.

If Donald Trump, pathological liar, ever did really love this country, it was a version that existed 60 years ago and should never be brought back. It's admirable that he wants to create more American jobs, if that really is his intentions as POTUS, but his business record suggests otherwise.

I can compare Trump and George Washington with the fact that neither of them want the presidency, but they felt an obligation to serve our country.

Have you ever heard him discuss his hiring practices? Of course you haven't, but so what .... Right? Did he hire some illegals?... Yeah.... Wonder why?
