2016 Election Thread Part Deux

Making a successful biz and managing an economy are not really related concepts.

Let's hand the reigns over to a truly self made guy, like George Soros...does that sound good?

Your appeal to his authority as a billionaire is a logical fallacy and not a good one.

Your more full of $*** than a Xmas turkey. If it was possible to get it all out ..... You could be buried in a match box

Reuters now has Trump tied with Hillary. That's a 5 point swing since the start of the RNC.

So after two weeks of a significant Trump surge that now have him tied w Hillary, Reuters is saying their poll has recently become "skewed". So they're changing it to correct for "underreporting of one of the candidates". They're claiming it's because they give those surveyed the option of saying "neither".

The year of 'Neither': Why Reuters/Ipsos is tweaking its U.S. presidential poll | Reuters

Is "neither" not a responsible response, particularly in this election?

I think it depends on the question. Evidently, if you ask which do you prefer, or which is best, about half of all people say neither. (In my personal experience it's about 80 percent).

If you ask who you are voting for, people sigh, and pick one.

Does this poll only include Clinton/Trump? Forcing people to pick one or the other will definitely skew the poll as people will be voting for other candidates.

It will be interesting to see then, because I would expect "neither" voters to be Johnson/Stein voters and would then make no difference in the results

If I were running, plank one would be a federal hiring freeze. Emergencies could be exempted but agency would have to justify each additional spot, and if non classified, would have to do so in open hearing.

If you won, you would make Obama king with your first and last executive order.

PPD is a Democrat poll. It has Hillary up 5 in the latest release which represents a +1 shift from last month.

But have to to question the validity of a poll where 5% of those surveyed would choose to elect a dead gorilla over either Clinton or Trump

From now on I'm just going to laugh at anyone who says that voting 3rd party is a vote for Clinton.

In reality, anyone who voted for the orange-faced windbag in the primary was offering a vote to HRC on a silver platter.
