Seems like a random comparison, and I don't think Josh Dobbs is anywhere close to the talent as a passer. However, people talking about how bad the passing game is should take a look at UGA in 2013. Murray was on fire.... Until 3 receivers and an lineman went down. I remember Bennett, and Scott welsely actually went down against UT (and Marshall who he was throwing to out of backfield)... He struggled with inexperienced receivers to find rhythm and looked dobbesque his sr year, losing 3 more games after the Win over UT.
UT had a less than average pass protection and had croom, north, pig, and Von out or inconsistently in. Under those circumstances, even great passing qbs can struggle.
With a healthy receivers and a more veteran line this year, I truly think there is the potential for a complete turnaround in the passing game.
