I remember someone asking in the spring if we'd see more I formation like we saw in the bowl game and Hubbs said probably not much. Then last night Hubbs was asked the same question and he said we'll see a good bit of it. Sounds like our staff might have decided giving Hurd a blocker frees him up to run thru defenses with ease. Really looking forward to seeing it very soon.

We are trying out a few guys at FB.

Stocstill could really carve out a nice spot as FB. He can catch the ball at FB too if needed.

Our interior O-line is very good. Hall was solid last year and I expect him to be a player. The only concern is that Kendrick/Richmond can give us good minutes at the other tackle spot.

The negativity is bad but the reemergence of Leb is what makes it unbearable for me.

He dominates the board and not in a good way. At one point the other day there was 14 threads on the front page with the last post from crunchy Leb.

Anybody hear anything about running more I back/ single back sets from under center?

Would love love love to see more of Hurd like we did vs NW. Throw in a fullback and my head might just explode.

That was just a taste IMO and I believe Hurd had a big part in that. A nice mix will help us keep our current advantages and then finish off teams...as well as appeal to recruits like Cam Akers.

Medium sized jets have become very affordable. If you fly much, it's a very reasonable option.

Did you read the comments from Roger's dad? He said the TN coaches were open and honest with them about where they stood. Even told them which players the staff liked better than his son. It doesn't get any more honest than that. I've never claimed recruiting doesn't have a dark side, my claim was that Butch doesn't just pull the rug out from under these kids unexpectedly. I think he lets them know the way things work up front. You on the other hand think Butch is deceitful and dishonest. That is where we differ.

100% this!! But you can't bring actual information form an actual RECRUITS DAD into the argument because that doesn't fit the agenda. :crazy:

Does anybody know why we stopped doing the QB run in the Bama game? I'm rewatching the game and Dobbs was picking up 10 yds a carry in the first quarter. But they stopped running him after the first. I heard somewhere that he hurt his foot, is that true? Cause it seemed to me that Bama was not going to stop him from running

I saw Dobbs the week after the Bama game and he was limping considerably so that is definitely plausible.
