Whoever did this, I am thoroughly impressed. So pumped for this season after watching this video

Sometimes you start to forget and start buying the negative crap from opposing fans who claim he's overrated and then you watch something like that. If anything, he's underrated.

"Tennessee offered 2018 California Nikko Remigio. Heard he had a big day.

Also, Miami defensive lineman Deandre Johnson said Tennessee is tied at the top with Mississippi State."

I remember I had that game on while I was doing other things around the house. I kept looking up and it was this Tyler Byrd kid making one play after another. Remember he held up the "U" hand sign after he scored. Little did they know...

Interesting seeing the PR push going on for houston to the big12 right now. A number of people are endorsing them.

Funniest tweet I saw said Ted Cruz was set to endorse them later tonight

If Houston gets to Big 12 look out. Game changer in that conference. Herman will be a recruiting nightmare for Texas and Texas AM in state

Disagree. I think Herman gets lured away by a top program and Houston becomes Houston again in next two years...

I'll revise my list from a couple days ago based on more info. If I'm them I take 4 teams:

Houston: 4th largest TV market, good sports facilities, possible superstar coach in Hermann.

Cincinnati: good programs, solid track of success, natural rival for West Virginia, helps with travel

BYU: large stadium, tradition, good overall in all athletic programs, large national fanbase

Memphis: good recruiting grounds, FedEx money.

Or... UCF: massive attendance, great recruiting grounds, nice facilities

Herman will probably leave but Houston is a pretty good non power five program. Heisman winner, few first round picks, and some conference championships. They will cause problems in the Big XII

No reason for him to leave if they get into big 12. Tons of talent in Houston and the state. His dream job was Texas but why go to TX once your in Big 12 at Houston. Less expectations and same recruiting hotbed. Only thing would be money.

He probably makes 3 million or so at UH? Probably closer to 5-5.5M in Austin.

Or he MAKES Houston a TOP PROGRAM and establishes his own legacy? :dunno: Houston getting on the Big 12 money ledger would allow Herman everything he would need. If they don't get the invite, he'd leave eventually...but doesn't seem to be in a hurry. Could've bolted for several openings after last season.

He'd be an ideal fit at Texas...very personable, which is vital for networking with those big Texas boosters...that's what Mack Brown was very adept at...without Herman's technical brilliance. I think Houston would be willing to pony up within a million of any potential Texas offer (allowing they get the Big 12 invite)...they're not going to offer Saban money imo.
