The vols are not getting enough respect from florida---i'm tired of this. UT clearly has a lot more talent at all the key positions and will win this game big!

Tennessee will get respect from Florida when we beat them. Otherwise, how much respect should they have for a team they punk every year? For example, no UT fan (nor should they) has any respect whatsoever for Vandie.....and they've beaten us 3 times in the last 11 years.

I think it goes both ways. I see it being understood two ways . One, as a mental game just trying to rattle UT. And two, something said because they are young guys enjoying the moment. I don't think it should be taken as seriously as some are taking it. The team is already motivated to beat Florida and this will only add fuel to the fire.

Best of luck in beating them though, I hope we can conquer our own demons and manage to do what we should have done the last two seasons.

Can't blame them for trying to get their shots in while they can. It may be a little more difficult to talk in the next coming years. Plus, all of this talk makes me feel like this game is getting back to its glory days.

Can the Vols prevent Gators from steeling their cheese? Probably, but we will gonna see. It shud be a good one.

Hard to find candor on a fan site, but Butch sounded like a man who was very pleased with himself. Maybe by the end of the season, he will be entitled to arrogance, but after coaching two late collapses, wouldn't a little humility be in order?
