Florida players are unusually loud this year at SECMD

I think he's referring to their All-SEC and future Heisman winner, Tim Tebow, who coincidentally had not transferred school to school to school and ended up being a generational collegiate player.

Surely coaches are more indicative than players and Butch is running his mouth like a 13 year old braggart.

What are you talking about? Pretty sure we watched two completely separate press conferences then because Butch spoke almost entirely in cliches and coach speak. He did his normal thing where he managed to talk a whole lot while really saying absolutely nothing at all.

You sound more like the 13 year old braggart, honestly. If anything, McElwain sounded more childish than Butch and he wasn't very candid either.

Remember in 2007? You silly vols made fun of our "fullback playing QB" and we were going to get crushed because you had a senior QB (drug addict).

I have a feeling out new QB is going to show up your senior QB, again.

I have a feeling that you're not very smart.

As much as I love the hit Hurd layed on him, and as crazy as I went in the stadium when it happened, it's easy to see Hurd had the edge and would have probably scored if he had kept running towards the sideline instead of cutting it back inside. Plays like this are why people say Chubb and LF4 are better backs

I would disagree there. I just watched that gif a dozen times and I don't think it's clear that he "probably would have scored." To me it looked like the UGA defender was closing fast, and Hurd would have probably been tackled/pushed out of bounds around the 3-5 yard line.

He certainly could have broken a tackle and scored but that isn't something that you can 100% count on to occur.

Nice drug reference. Classy. I know how you Gators like to keep the straight and narrow. Oh wait...

You mean when UF was ranked #3 and TN ranked #24 going into the game, and the game was at the swamp, and UF was starting a Heisman candidate QB?

Not comparable at all to the circumstances leading to the game in 2016.

Ignore the Gator troll. No point in conversing with the delusional ones. Although, I should probably learn to take my own advice :)

Oh? The highly rated backup who basically every team wanted? Weird comparison to the dude who's on his third team.

And, LF had a play like this at the goal line late in his freshman season where he, like Hurd, completely trucked/ran over his defender. However, while Jalen stumbled and fell forward short of the goal line after contact, LF kept his feet and scored. That again is a difference. Hurd is very good to outstanding.....Fournette is elite. And it's no slight to Hurd to say so IMO. Just is what it is.

Julius Erving was my favorite basketball for years when I was a kid. And then one day this kid from NorthCarolina came into the league and I soon had to admit that as great as Doc was, as much as I loved him, the kid from North Carolina was better than Julius was and, quite honestly, had ever been.

Ah yes. Use of "Sweeping Generalization" - The cornerstone of unimaginable forum dwellers everywhere.

*eye roll* :bad:

If you come to our forum and make an unintelligent remark about a drug addict, you should expect to get your murdering felon thrown back in your face.

I love the VOL NATION!

This is thread # 4 about the Gators. Every one of the threads talk about how scared the Gators are yet I can't find a single thread on any of the Gator sites, dealing with the vols.

The Gator team and coaches know this is going to be a good year. We finally have a few QBs that can see over the line. We have receivers and TEs that we can throw to. We have10-15 linemen that have been in the same offense, same O-Line coach for two strainght years. We have the same coaching staff in place for two straight years (except for DB and that was an upgrade).

On defense, we have all the starters back to be better than last year.

We have a kicker!!!!

We have a punter that can flip the field.

We have a punt returner that can take it to the house.

We had a young team that found ways to win tight ballgames last year. Your veteran team failed at that last season.

Where your coach said that it would take 7 years to build the team into a contender, our coach came in with 6 O-Linemen and a high school athlete playing QB, and won 10 games and took us to the SEC Championship.

Gentlemen, keep reading the "experts" tell you that the Gators are a 3rd place team in the East. Keep reading that UT is the team to beat because Dobbs is the most experienced QB in the East. That's all FOOLS GOLD.

You had 15 players drafted in the last 2 years. We've had ZERO. And yet you only won by 2 points total in the last 2 years. The idea you were starved for talent the last few years is hilarious.

And even more comical is that you are now flushed with talent after McElwain just brought in the 2 lowest rated recruiting classes in the last 20 years at Florida.

We've out-recruited you the last 3 years. First time Tennessee could say that on paper we're the more talented team in forever. We return the most experienced team in the SEC. We have you at home. And your players have decided to give a more talented team an off-season's worth of bulletin board material.

Unless this voodoo magic curse thing is real, Florida will get stomped down this year in Neyland.

EVERY FACTOR IS IN TENNESSEE'S FAVOR.
