I have sat and read all these post about tee and why he at the last moment, according to what I've read on here, changed his mind and committed to Clemson. I wonder if the law suit had anything to do with it? Butch said schools was using it against us and if I remember correctly it involved Clemson.
If they're going to settle, why didn't they settle immediately? The damage is done. At this point, they might as well fight it.

The only way to make a quick settlement is to pay the plaintiffs every dime they're asking for without even negotiating. That's not a realistic way to handle business. Holding together a recruiting class cannot be the top priority for a major state school.
I'm not saying that you are wrong but we aren't anywhere close to 30s or have we been since he got here. We could do better by ranking but has has shown an ability to identify talent. Plus some threes can be fours by the end of all this. This lawsuit is about how the athletic dept handled the claims and the culture it created around campus. It is very important for the athletic dept to keep together a recruiting class. We all saw how much money the athletic dept lost when Dooley was here winning 5 game a year. Let Butch bring in 2-3 classes ranked in the 30s and watch the coffers dry up again as Bama beats us by 35 every year.
