So ready for the season! I start residency next year so this will be the last year I can watch most of the games live. Hope it's gonna be a good one.

Tough to see it IMO. I actually see something like 6-8 4* and 16 or so 3*. Top 15 at best.

I'm not even sold on the idea winning 10 or 11 games matters. If it did, following 9 wins last year and all the hype, recruits would be committed now to have a spot. If the season flopped, they would just bail.

If we win 11 and don't get a top 10 class, there is something very, very wrong with our program.

Any doubt that LSU massacres the East and goes no worse than 11-1 with our schedule?

Reason I ask is I see UT and LSU having the most similar rosters in the SEC, except we have a big edge at QB. The horseshoe embedded in Les Miles' ass is probably worth more than Dobbs, though.

I'm confident we will. That's partly my point. I don't think a bunch of top recruits are standing by and waiting to see if UT does win 10 as that's the minimum. Recuits would already have grabbed their spot as most services are confident this is UTs year. As I said, if we were to flop and we win 7-8, the committed guys just walk. I honestly don't get a bunch of them in a wait and see right now.

If we lose the east, Butch will never live it down. Kirby is already stomping a hole in us in recruiting, how bad do you think it will get if he beats Butch this year? We can not afford to lose any east games this year.

Should Butch be on the hot seat if he doesn't win the East this year?
