I don't get the whole notion of "Just win" and everything will be okay. A lot of these top guys are committing in the next few months.
Kids follow the trends. Clemson and UGA are hauling in elite recruits and others want to hop on board and be part of it. It's the "me, too" mentality.
Kirby is selling what CBJ successfully peddled for two years-- change and hope. New coach, fired-up fanbase, the promise of better results. UGA wants to keep their top in-state recruits-- just like UT does.
very true. all that is accurate. But what happens when ol Kirby loses the opener? which could very well happen at this point
We are projected to be a top 10 team this year.
This is the best Vols team in 10+ years.
We have tons of hype coming in to the season.
We are SEC East favorites.
...and now suddenly recruiting takes a sharp turn downward. It doesn't make sense to me. Odd.

I agree Catbone- it is maddening to understand. This lawsuit must be making more of an impact than we think. And elite players want to play with elite players which we only have 1 in this class. Just waiting for Clemson to come calling for him, hope he's solid.
