Not when he doesn't have any leverage. He obviously would not rescind the offer for Tee Higgins if he visited Tennessee... and do you really think he won't visit Tennessee this fall? Have you seen Clemson's home schedule? Tennessee's is a little more interesting to say the least. Higgins probably won't flip but I will be shocked if Tennessee doesn't get an OV.

I guess that's up to the coach. If you say don't commit unless you're done with visits then don't do anything if said recruit does take visits, you're wasting your time stating the policy. I'm not sure how Dabo handles each case.
Let's just be honest here... He can't stop Higgins from going to the Florida or Alabama games... and I bet Higgins probably does. Clemson plays NOBDODY of note at home this year and Higgins will probably want to attend a good game or two this season. It may be over for his recruitment but Higgins will definitely visit. It's what? A 40 minute drive from his house?

Dabo doesn't let commits take visits.
When you recruit like clemson you can do thatSo when a player commits, the coach can now dictate what they can and can't do? Does he also guarantee to the player that their scholarship will not be rescinded if he needs to? Does he also guarantee that he or the coach that recruited the player will not leave the school?
A player would be very unwise to not keep doors open for the unexpected, IMO.
There is loyalty and then there blind loyalty.
I agree he can't stop him. Dabo just has to enforce his policy if he does. Who knows. Tee may respect the policy, knows it, and is done with visits.

If the coach has a proven history of honoring committed offers, I don't see an issue. In fact, I'd imagine recruits would prefer it. They know their spot is secure. There is value in that.
I'm just telling you how Clemson does it. If commits take visits they are then decommited. It happened last fall with a bigtime LB (forget his name). He was a Clemson commit but wanted to take visits. So he decommited, took some visits, and then recommitted near NSD and signed with Clemson.
