Look for Butch to run up the score this year on mcelwain to show who's boss now in the SEC east!

It must be nice to have a quality in state rival. Our's are so inferior, we tend to play the spoiler. Ruin as many teams hopes and dreams as crushingly possible. Finally getting back on track.
After this year it won't be Ga.
Go Vols!
I wonder if like last year, those steroids will magically kick in with 10 minutes left in the game, after our QB plays like garbage for the first 50 minutes.
We need those special timed release steroids again.![]()
Of course the issue could have just been avoided. Seems like not taking anything would be easier than your alluding to how it doesn't really count. You know, being the UF QB and all.
But I guess that's a crazy thought also.
I'm suggesting that you are implying his performance was in no way benefited.
Which can be debated.
But we wouldn't have to if your QB just doesn't take anything.
I didn't say anything about the suspension.
Gotcha...and you're right, we can debate the extent that steroids played in Grier's performance all day long.
I've never seen steroids kick in at the precise moment to enhance performance...a performance that was slightly below average until those steroids kicked in just at the right time.
Grier's performance was enhanced by UT allowing him to sit in the pocket on 5 consecutive 4th down plays, including the game winner where WG got his clock cleaned by Barnett on the previous play.
Spying him didn't work on the previous four 4th down conversions, so why not try it again?
You are correct, our DC made a stupid call.
Still doesn't mean that if Wonder Boy hadn't taken twice his dose of Flintstone vitamins, maybe he's not feeling so froggy by the end of the 4th quarter. Maybe he's a little bit slower and someone gets to him.
Maybe he just sucked really bad before, and the entire beginning of the season was actually an improvement.
Maybe maybe maybe.
Maybe the rules are followed and there's no debate?
Still seems easier than you coming on here and trying to convince everyone that it didn't matter.
And please stop being so condescending with the "just the right time" stuff.
It just comes off as a cop out for him cheating not meaning anything.
But he didn't follow the rules, got suspended and deservedly so...so here we are debating it.
A roided up Grier still needed help from UT's coaching staff and a missed FG as time expired to become the latest cop out for some UT fans regarding the loss.
I hate florida!
