Obviously, you are unaware of where it is coming.
Long story short- the guy he is talking to, has accused almost everyone on the board that ever disagreed with him, of being a racist.

The poster you are responding to just showed him how stupid it is.

As one person mentioned he doesn't see the plays develop before they develop at times; with that being said, because of that, A lot of times if the first option isn't there, he doesn't do a good job at checking down to the 2nd or third option quick enough due to him not seeing a play develop before it develops. What happens is two things, you misfire on the pass causing an interception, or you hesitate mentally causing you to pass to high, or throw a duck because of the hesitation. The reason he does that is probably because a lot of times at the last second he sees a player open right as the defense arrives. When that happens, naturally you react to throw away from the defender, which in Dobbs cAse can be to high of a throw or a duck. He needs to be confident and not think. Yes he is genius!!! But football smarts is 180 from school smarts. He over thinks things to much.... Thankfully tho, Dobbs is blessed with tremendous escape ability that I haven't seen before. He is just so slippery.

One more things. He struggles on Long passes because he waits until the wreciever is completely open and turned around. Deep balls you throw before the wreciever turns around. His best pass was to josh Malone on the right side because he threw before the play developed. Everything is about seeing things before it happens.

This! You've got to give your receivers the opportunity to make plays and thats either not in Dobbs' makeup,
or its embedded in the offensive philosophy. Either way we'll find out this fall because we can't play timid
and get where we want to go.

It's natural for someone who thinks like an engineer to overthink things. Hopefully he can learn to trust his instincts more this year.

Travis, do you think the wide receiver rotation hurt him last year by not allowing him to develop that chemistry or have a go-to guy?

No. There were a lot of guys he missed wide open last year in film. Some plays when he would hit a guy for 6-7 yards, someone was streaking on a post wide open 30 yards down field.

34 bringing the good knowledge. Nobody doubts that JD is incredibly smart and gifted with a unique skill set. It has looked to me, in the past, that he just needs to play a little looser... Trusting his receivers to make a play/run the route/get to the target. I'm really hoping that he has made progress in the offseason and matures into a top-tier passer this year to complement his running/escape abilities.

IMO, that may be the key to us being a contender and him an NFL prospect.
