TRUT had a great response for this...

Give me a few to see if I can remember it...

That's a valid argument unless you're trolling websites, trying to pick childish fights by claiming matters of faith as fact. Once you've done that, you've shifted the burden of proof to yourself. You just appear too ignorant to realize it.

I've tried telling him. But, he's smarter than me.

Sigh.

I keep waiting for Ricky Gervais to be funny. He never is. He and Russell Brand are horrible.

How did British comedy go from Monty Python to Gervais and Brand? Makes me have a sad.

I hope you had a great Father's Day. I started to "holler" at you, but I knew you were busy. Hope it was a wonderful day my friend....

Thanks bro. Pretty good day. McMom and Daughter left for a cruise yesterday.

So, just me and the boys. Very quiet and relaxed (best Father's Day present possible).

LOL.. the burden of proof doesn't switch because of trolling or any other kind of behavior. You make a claim that something exists the burden of proof is on you... and always on you. Telling somebody the burden of proof is on them to prove something doesn't exist is just.. well.. that is just idiotic.
Prove unicorns don't exist.. fairies.. leprechauns.. the other 3000 gods in history. Telling somebody to prove a negative is just asinine.

Yep, you're ignorant.

I can't help it religion has made you guys ignorant to the world and how these things work. If that's the way you want to go through life.. have at it.

More freaking opinion....

Come on man...
If it's that easy, prove its a farce....

Science has your back. Get mercy to pull some stats from scientist that don't believe a God exists and back this **** up. There is plenty of them out there. Surely they are smarter than a God that doesn't exist. This should be a cake walk. You are of superior intelligence to us lowly Christians.

Man up....

You guys are almost there.. you have already rejected the thousands of gods throughout history.. just go one more and you are good to go.

since you guys like ricky

The burden of proof rests on the person making the claim. So, if a person makes the claim that God does not exist, then the burden of proof (that God does not exist) rests just as surely upon that person.

Similarly, if a person makes the claim that Christian stories are plagiarized from paganism, the burden of proof is on the person making that claim. (Hint: It's been claimed in this forum several times, and handled accordingly.)

If a person claims that the Bible is untrustworthy, then the burden of proof for that claim lies with the person making that claim.

If you feel that it's asinine to ask people to prove negatives (it isn't always), then you should also realize how asinine it is to make unprovable negative claims. But you don't see how asinine you are, because you are ignorant.

I'm not the one making extraordinary claims.

I said 99.9% of the christians don't know how the bible came to be. If they did know they wouldn't be christians.. unless they are scamming people or incredibly dense.

So am I correct in assuming you are making the claim that 99.9% of christians dont know how the bible came to be?

"99.9% of Christians dont know how the bible came to be." Posted by you. Thats an extraordinary claim. Therefore the burden of proof falls on you to prove that statement. Have at it.

I'm ignorant to you cause I don't believe in your fairy tale without proof. Only in religion is something real without proof... And the only thing religion can say is.. prove it doesn't exist.. it's asinine.

Since you guys deal in absurdity.. here we go.. lets use your logic.. I will prove god doesn't exist using your methods.

god doesn't exist is true because there is no proof that god not existing is false

It's not hard to find the truth if you want to but you choose to believe in a fairy tale.

Until christians can prove god is real they shouldn't say **** about facts.

This is why belief in God is based on one's faith.
You do realize that the scientists haven't shown proof either..... Right? They've expressed theories
