Refresh my memory...who has the BWB burnt alive in the show? I know ol saggy bags Mel does, but when did Thoros?
there's a bit more to it than just last night's episode, but I'd rather not get too into that cause it's REALLY spoilerish.
Was posting about the state of the brotherhood in another forum. Real curious why you think the state of the brotherhood last night means we're less likely to seeLSH?
I mean it still doesn't make complete sense necessarily, but makes far more sense than if you believe this is still the Brotherhood under Beric's command.
of course, the guys last night could also have just been lying out their asses, or didn't even commit the slaughter at all, but I'm pretty sure that's not the case.
there's even a subtle nod that the "leader" of those three is Lemoncloak
I could be wrong, but I wouldn't expect the brotherhood to just be killing innocent people if they were lead by LSH. I think that if she was coming back, we would have already been hearing stories of dead Freys by now.
I'm lazy and don't feel like typing another long winded post, so I'll just copy pasta what I put in another forum.
The BwB is all about protecting the common folk, regardless of religious affiliations. Mainly attack/pillage those that pose a threat to the common folk, whether that be the enemies they fought against during the war (primarily anybody associated with the Lannisters), common criminals, or northern raiders. Seems very anti-BwB to straight up slaughter a group of innocent, defenseless small folk for some slim pickings.
Only explanation I can think of is that the BwB has a new leader, whom has brought the Brotherhood to a low point where they are nothing more than the outlaws they fought against. Still, in regards to who I'm referring to, it still doesn't make complete sense. Definitely know Beric would not be cool with that though.
obviouslywouldn't be focusing on these random folk, hence why i said it doesn't make complete sense. but, what i do know, is that the brotherhood turned into straight outlaws after becoming the de facto leader. it was after that point, many members disbanded, as the Brotherhood was longer about justice anymore.LSH
see below. posted this just at the end of the previous page in response to Ulysees.
Did you see this? Supposedly leaked episode 10 synopsis:
Episode 10 - The Winds Of Winter A queen comes forth. Euron reveals himself. Brienne meets a friend turned foe. Kings Landing awaits justice. The Nights Watch gathers.
We already know she's meeting Jaime and the Blackfish next week based on the preview, so who else could this be besides LSH?

I really hope this isn't true. I know I'm in the minority, but I have a hard time understanding why people want this character.Did you see this? Supposedly leaked episode 10 synopsis:
