The failure of the GOP to deal with the changing demographics of the country were summarized nicely in this book:

She is toast. She will lose in November if she is still alive and running. People do not want another 4 years of the same crap. The economy will be the issue.
Nice to see this bullsh## line is still being thrown around. That's apparently been the RNC motto for about 25 years now.
The BIG difference in THIS election is that HiLIARy is truly evil. But OK, I'll back off on the original "bull****" statement. This election is a referendum against true evil. THIS election DOES matter in that there is a difference in the two candidates. The presumptive "republican" nominee isn't getting the support of the party that he supposedly represents. In your mind, that should be a good thing because he is bringing those same worthless, no-different-than-the-other-guys to their proverbial knees. So which is it? Do you want the same old establishment democrat party, or the newly imploded republican party. The former gets you more of the same crap. The latter gives you a chance. You know, real "hope and change" not just a slogan from a community organizer that had never run any business in his life.Of course it is, because they are the exact same. Dems, Republicans, doesn't matter. It's now a pissing contest of "yeah but your person did worse" all while trying to convince everyone their candidate isn't as bad as the other.
It's so hilarious to watch.
Not a Hillary supporter. And I'm not whipping out the race card. I'm presenting evidence
When you say changing demographics are you implying that there is a growing population of sorry beggars with their hand out? Or that the Femocrat message of division and keeping certain races dependent has worked?
I actually agree with LG and the GOP not keeping up with changing demographics. Conservatives are behind the times on public opinion because they are beholden to the baby boomers and the greatest generation. It has less to do with welfare (because they often vote for welfare) and more to do with marijuana, gay marriage, immigration, etc.
The funny thing is, the Republican party was ahead of the times in the 1980s in regards to immigration. Reagan wanted immigrants and granted amnesty. Not sure why that changed, but the party regressed.

They voted for the shrub twice so anything is possible. If the electorate has any sense at all it should vote the gop outta every office. That party is so drunk with power their fighting over who in the party is the most powerful.

I don't know where you get your figures, or whether they are right or wrong, but people who are younger than 55 will get to be 55 unless they die first. Age changes viewpoints. There will always be plenty of over 55 year olds.As far as I'm concerned the GOP is dead. Literally dead. The party can't survive when 40-55% of the party is over the age of 55.
Reagan signed the bill with the provision that the border would be secured, and the problem would be fixed at that time.I actually agree with LG and the GOP not keeping up with changing demographics.
