2016 Election Thread Part Deux

To be this adamantly against Trump but quite ok with Hillary, shows your blindness. Some special kinds of fools in this world.

His post reminds me of my father in law. States he doesn't like Hillary and won't vote for trump. But, is going to vote for her anyway. When I asked why not vote 3rd party- quiet.....

He votes party line. Doesn't matter who it is.

So, if you don't vote, you forfeit your right to whine and complain about everything?

Not at all. The fact that I think neither is deserving does not mean I have no complaints.

I seriously see no way Trump wins. His numbers with women, blacks, and Latinos are HORRIBLE. But if he does win, it has the potential to truly end the country.

Can you guys really support a guy who makes this infantile claim that his opponent's father played a role in the JFK assassination ? This morning!

He didn't really come out and say that. He said that nobody talked about Cruz's dad in the picture with Lee Harvey Oswald. He left the conclusion up to you. I concluded that he was just being Trump.

I credit Cruz for dropping out.

Cruz supporters are awful butthurt though.

No surprise. Trump has moved to the left and has done nothing to appeal to conservatives who voted for Cruz.

The remarks this morning associating Cruz's father with the JFK assassination did not help him. Right now you have a substantial camp of Cruz voters who will not vote for him under any circumstances. A conciliatory tone would have been better than placing Rafael Cruz in a conspiracy with Lee Harvey Oswald to kill JFK.

He lost my potential vote after these last few weeks. As of now, I'll be voting for Gary Johnson as someone who actually advocates policies supportive of limited government and individual freedom.

He's got a chance to get it back. But I want to hear some conservative policies advocated forcefully with the intent of drawing clear distinctions with Hillary Clinton and the last eight years of Democratic failure.

Why should a Cruz voter even consider Trump if all he ends up doing in the general election is trying to out-left Hillary Clinton? We didn't vote for that in the primary and you can't expect us to vote for it in the general election.

Trump needs to prove he represents an actual change in direction from what we have seen over the last decade.

If he refuses to do that, then he has no chance of winning. Many conservatives will stay home or move on.

I find statements like this from both sides so funny. If Bush gets re-elected we all die. If Obama wins we all die. If Obama wins again we all die. If trump wins we all die. News flash folks it doesn't matter. DCis in gridlock and its our own damn fault. Obama was supposed to be transformative. Was not. Trump won't be anything different then the rest despite what his intentions may be.

The off presidential cycles mean more

I don't understand why people still talk about the Reagan democrats as if they are still a demographic...that was 30 years ago..many things have changed since then.

They are referring to union people who cross over. That's my understanding at least. Wasn't born yet.

Many of those Reagan democrats were in their 30's, 40's and 50's back then. Now they are in their 60's, 70's, and 80's. Still a sizable demographic that believes in Reaganomics.

And we'll continue to laugh at the GOP ****show. :eek:lol:

I wouldn't be so quick to laugh considering the circus the DNC race has become. The only way Hillary is winning by such a majority is by that corrupt system of super delegates. As well as her trying to pander to every group she can out there and trying to out left Bernie.

I am in that camp but he has zero chance to earn my vote back, I will sit this one out.

I can't believe after 8 years of barry the best we can do is trump/hillary

I guess I have to hold my nose and vote Trump. I sure as sh!t ain't voting for a woman who said "What does it even matter" when US Citizens were killed by terrorists. F her.

Trump will end up being one of the best presidents in American history and some will feel like fools for things they've said about the guy.

he has a chance to be something different than what we've had before but considering some of the things he has said while campaigning I have no idea how you can draw that conclusion with certainty unless you are YUGE Apprentice fan
