2016 Election Thread Part Deux

She's bad, certainly, but status quo. Cruz is a pathological liar, delusional and perhaps borderline insane. Combine that with his intelligence and he is scary dangerous. HRC's danger is more of the same from this country's political establishment.
Disagree. She is pure evil.

Haley doesn't have a shot, she endorsed Ted

And? You're going to omit everyone that came out against Trump?

That's going to be a long list...

It's a national level campaign now. Bygones will be bygones and sins forgiven. Trump could do far worse than Nikki Haley.

Mans got an ego, you'll see.

If he "knows how to win" like he says he does, he knows ego takes a back seat to someone who can help him in the long run.

Don't count Haley out just because she endorsed Ted. I'd be willing to bet she'll have nice things to say about Trump before long.

I'm sure she will now, I'm just saying she's relatively new to the game and he's said he wants someone with lots of political experience, Rubio good on foreign policy and a Latino. Then you have the chica governor of New Mexico who fills two needs, it will be interesting indeed to watch him make a choice for VP.

This country is toast. It's over. I pitty my children. I yearn for an election where I can vote for someone instead of voting against someone.

I agree on Susanna Martinez, but she really hasn't had a lot of national exposure. But she's popular and smart. She certainly wouldn't be a bad choice as VP.

My money is still on Rubio, but honestly, it's going to be impossible to make any predictions in this election.

Again, bygones will be bygones.

Oh I agree just wondering why 69 thinks Trump would forgive Marco and not someone who simply backed Cruz. He explained his reasoning.

If trump is smart, and I think he will be, he will evaluate this properly. Help with electoral math, motivate the base, help heal the party or GTFO. Those are the only thing he needs to consider when selecting his VP. The electoral math and motivating the base are most important. The party will get over its butt hurt.

Marco Rubio - Passionate, "establishment," and far more likable than Cruz. And Hispanic

Nikki Haley - Well liked, a woman, minority and more likable than Cruz

Susanna Martinez - Dark horse candidate (no racist), well regarded, smart, Hispanic and a woman.

Three you should keep an eye on.

Kasich - Ohio
