Free Agent U?

Seems like a lot of attrition for an entire class. No wonder those 4th quarters were hard to hang on to.

More "couldve declared", we had a bigger junior class than those 3 for sure. Those were the 3 juniors/rising seniors who had a chance to even be considered for the draft. No others would be drafted.

Seriously am I missing or forgetting something? I thought he would be drafted

This years draft was absolutely loaded on the defensive side of the ball and he has issues with staying healthy. Hope he can get picked up as a UDFA and try and make a team. Remember, he didnt really want to leave UT this year and tried to get the medical waiver.

No. Too many injuries, including the last one to his hip....that's a big concern, even if he's now healthy. Then throw in that he didn't "wow" at his pro day, is a little stiff, doesn't have great speed, and is undersized to play DE in the NFL. A lot of factors against him.

I didn't think the injury was serious enough to ruin his draft chances, I know it was bad enough to miss a season, but it's been 7 months since it happened. Sucks for him.

It was more than the latest injuries, I dont think Maggitt has played an entire season without being injured for an extended amount of time (I could be wrong with that though)

Our upperclassmen are just not good. So far 5 gators have been drafted. 0 vols.

And some on here think we keep losing to them cause our guys are mentally weak.

We just have less talent. NFL Draft has exposed that for the last 11 years.

Exactly. We haven't been favorites in that game talent wise in a long time. Although a lot of the 2012 roster is or was in the NFL so part of it is Dools
Just couldn't coach either

That team with CP/Bray/Hunter was the most talented two deep we've had in a long time, and probably more talented Offensively than we've seen since early 2000's. If Dooley had kept Wilcox or hired anyone who wasn't an idiot at DC he would've gone blind squirrel and probably won 9 games by pure accident. And terrifyingly, would probably have just been fired last year as a result.

It's funny how life works out sometimes

Colts draft Austin Blythe from Iowa.

Didn't Owen Williams own him in the TaxSlayer Bowl? SMH

I thought Maggitt decided not to petition for the second medical RS. He was injured early in the second game so he should've been eligible for a sixth year.
