HBO's "Game of Thrones"

I know I'm crazy since it's been said that they cut out the character, but I'm not saying anything regarding LSH in here unless it's in a spoiler. i still think we could see that character this season now that Jaime and Brienne are in the Riverlands. heck, Episode 3 is titled "Oathbreaker." most likely not going to happen of course, but i'm still holding out hope lol

plus, I'd spoil it regardless, just in case someone watching the show decides to give the books a go. that certain reveal literally put my jaw on the floor. would be quite a nice surprise for a "show watcher/book newbie."

Right, but I meant the method of Jon's return. I made an edit to the spoiler so you may have replied before I added that part.

I hope this explains Jon Snow some.

One method of his return may be by fire. It is thought that when Stannis had his daughter sacrificed the sacrifice was too great of a blood magic sacrifice just to melt the snow. It is theorized by some that the sacrifice will lead to Jon's resurrection and that he will be resurrected in a funeral prier like when Dany burned herself, Drago and the eggs. Remember she said "Fire can not kill a Dragon". It is said that all the Dragonriders and true Targreayns will be reviled to us by fire. Or Jon will warg into ghost. But we know Jon want be a full warg because of the picture I showed from the set that shows Jon Snow in full Stark clothing.

Lady Stoneheart on the show maybe Sansa Stark. There is a rumor that there will be a second Red Wedding where Sansa Stark orchestrates the murder of everylast member of House Fray and she personally kills Lord Fray.

I hope Martin has a protege he's grooming to finish his work... would be a huge shame for such a fantastic story to not reach the conclusion it deserves.

I trust D&D to finish the show... but not the books.

If you have HBO you can get it on demand or with HBO Go app.

Some of the DVD's are pretty cheap on sites like eBay as well.

Within 10 minutes of the first episode of the first season you will know how bad A this show is gonna be.

I remember watching the first episode thinking "This is pretty good, I'll keep watching" and then getting to the very end and thinking "Sweet Zombie Jesus I have to watch every episode of this show NOW."

Waiting for an episode of game of thrones is like waiting for a Tennessee football game, but without the anxiety.

How I feel when someone mentions they've just started watching GoT

Can't believe how much story they crammed into one episode!! Of all the storylines churning so far, I'm still the most intrigued by Arya's. A close second is how the power struggle in King's Landing plays out with Jamie back in town.

Question: the ironborn king's brother.... who is he and why did he randomly show up and do that?

Ramsey... there is no rock bottom to this man's depravity...

He has 3 brothers IIRC. In the books, the one you saw today just mysteriously shows up right after Balon is found dead, and makes a claim to the Iron Islands throne. He is supposed to have been off traveling/pilaging throughout the world.

I'm sure others can provide a little better detail.

This episode was excellent. Don't we all hate Ramsay enough? Did they have to go that far man? The flashback was awesome. Tommen potentially having a darker turn is intriguing. In the books Balon Greyjoy has 3 brothers. One is a priest kinda like the guy who talked to Yara at the funeral named Aeron. Another named Victarion who is Balon's right hand man and leader of his fleet. And Euron who was exiled from the Iron Islands for banging Victarion's wife. Euron became a notorious pirate. Traveled the world. Came back awesome. The guy in the show I think is Euron. Although in the book he is missing an eye
