2016 Election Thread Part Deux

I am going to let you figure out why that's not good news for trump.
The post that I responded to by TnSnyper20 said "highly doubt that ANY Bernie supporters vote for Trump." I countered that with an exit poll that said 20% would. I gave no opinion whether or not that was good for Trump.

I thought I would leave you to figure out why you didn't try to refute what I actually posted.

So your point was " hey l found at least one person." Even though the statistic you quote is a terrible indicator for Trump and supports Snypers point. I doubt seriously he meant zero Bernie supporters would jump to Trump. Of course you know that. So either you thought the 20% was significant or you were being an ass.

Just refuting an incorrect point made by TnSnyper20.

LISTEN UP GOP, you steal this nomination from Trump and the people will REVOLT!! We will come for your heads I GUARANTEE IT

People will revolt? Like buck the system? So if it's Clinton and Kasich Trump and Bernie supporters will go awall and vote third party as a middle finger to the system? Count me in! Go GOP... Do a contested convention!!!

No they won't. And you know they won't. Every one will get in a happy line and vote for whomever is wearing a blue or red tie just like always do.

Kasich got a little testy with AC when questioned on his Cruz tag team against Trump. Good questions for which he had zero answers. You made the decision, governor, so don't be a tool when the tough questions come your way.

He's crashing and burning.

I like Kasich, but I don't think this is a game he needs to be playing. He's stayed above the nonsense so far, but all of the sudden a move like this makes him look petty. For Cruz, it's obvious he's desperate and childish...and that's expected. But Kasich? I thought he was the adult here.

It's best not to get testy with AC, if he wants your vote.

Kasich doesn't take questions well and often comes across as a jerk. It's pretty off-putting.

Exactly. This was a terrible move for him (not that he was finding much success previously). He's flushing away what set him apart (in a good way). Dumb, dumb, dumb.

The one that needs to be entirely pissed about this is Rubio. What Cruz and Kasich just did was the same thing he suggested before Florida. Such things can come back to haunt you in the long run and Rubio might be in a position to be the kingmaker at the convention. And if his delegates get tossed to Trump to put him over the 1,237, such petty slights from before just go to show all Cruz has done is smear his own name and brought down Kasich with him.

This is why in a normal year, Clinton would probably have no chance:

Clinton
42% favorable, 56% unfavorable (-14)

And this is why she'll probably be the next POTUS barring a hugely damaging scandal:

Trump
32% favorable, 65% unfavorable (-33)

Without specifics on how the poll was worded, don't you think that the numbers also reflect the hope that another candidate would be selected? If I wanted Cruz and was asked would I vote for Clinton on Trump, I might very well say Clinton to boost Cruz's odds - he looks better if Trump appears un-electable. That's a question to be asked when the primaries are over.

Question: Do you guys think Lyin Ted, or 1 for 41 Kasich, will ultimately endorse Trump?

And if they do, will you also laugh at the insincerity of it?

Yes, he appears very much un-electable. If he gets the nomination, Hillary will have a hayday debating the buffoon.

You say this as if Hillary isn't a buffoon and has no major flaws.

Of course people actually voted for Obama, some even twice so there is a rather large group of voting retards.

Kasich yes. And I think until recently it would have been a sincere motive. He still has the chance to redeem himself.

Cruz...I don't know if his ego will allow that.
