I agree.

I think the only ones who would have that kind of pull, should they be that malicious, would be a Bush, a Clinton, or a Cheney, the latter who would certainly be that malicious.

It's still awfully hard for me to believe that any American politician could ever get away with something like that, as our security services (aka, the people who could pull it off for them) don't as directly report to any particular individual in our government as they do to, say, the Russian president.

So the Trump team puts a program on line, but Trump says something directly contradictory. So when pressed for detail, you cite the online statement.

And ignore his actual comment.

Probably not. Unlike Putin, he couldn't get away with it even if he wanted, because he isn't deeply connected to our security services, but it probably will take some major unexpected cataclysm for him to win.

Forget about a Clinton indictment. Even if that happens, it still is unlikely to matter, as Bernie will still likely mop the floor with Trump. No, it's going to take a major terrorist attack, here on our own soil.

Bernie couldn't mop the floor with anyone. There has been NO attempt to drive up his negatives yet......by anyone.

He's only +5 in favorability as it is and Clinton has gone easy on him to try to keep his supporters in the fold. If she ran the type of campaign she did against Obama it would get ugly fast.

You'd have to look back to February. And even then, she led in almost all of them. Trump has only led in 5 polls out of almost a hundred since polling began.

Don't sweat it though. Like you say, Trump is going to glide through the general, so nothing to worry about.

And as far as the tinfoil hat post of yours regarding my own post is concerned, why is it so hard to believe that a Putin fanboy, sociopathic narcissist, and race agitator would be willing to have scores of Americans killed if it meant him getting the presidency? I find that highly believable. Do you think a Clinton wouldn't be willing to do that, if they thought they could get away with it? I don't either. So why do you doubt that Trump wouldn't if he thought he could get away with it? Do you think the guy who constantly blames everyone but himself for America's flaws has a pure heart, or something?

SIAP - saw where Cruz and Kasich are coordinating to stop Trump. Kasich is dialing back in Indiana so Cruz can win and Cruz is dialing back in Oregon so Kasich can win.

And then for some reason today Kasich says that people should still vote for him in Indiana. WTF?

Making this announcement was so dumb. If I didn't know any better I would say they're actually trying to help Trump with how incompetent they look.
